Dahlia sighed as she parked her car, climbing out of it. She had just arrived at someone's street, deciding that she would keep her boyfriend company as he watched some girl's house all night. Being a deputy in Beacon Hills came with its fair share of strange occurrences, so the couple barely got to spend any time together. So when Jordan told Dahlia that he would be on a stakeout, she happily agreed to join him.

"Hey baby. Hey Lydia," Dahlia said. Jordan and Lydia both turned to her, smiling. "Go get some sleep, kid. I've got it from here," Dahlia said, raising her eyebrows at Lydia. The strawberry blonde smiled gratefully; even though she had volunteered to keep Jordan company, she really wanted to be in the comfort of her bed instead of the cold night.

Lydia clambered into her own car, driving away after waving the couple goodnight.

"Anything yet?" Dahlia asked, leaning against Jordan's car. He shook his head, stuffing his hands into his pockets. Dahlia sighed, shivering slightly. "You cold?" Jordan asked. Dahlia nodded. Jordan brought her closer to his chest, allowing her to wrap her arms around his torso. He brought his jacket over her body to the best of his ability, trying to keep his girlfriend warm.

"I love you," Dahlia mumbled into his chest. Jordan smiled as he rubbed circles on her back.

"And I love you."
