Derek smiled at Harlow as she sparred with Liam playfully. He couldn't help but admire the little things about her.

"So, when are you gonna man-up and ask Harlow out?" Stiles asked, approaching Derek. The man glared at him, making Stiles shrink back slightly. "Come on, Derek. Don't give me that look. We all know how much you like her. You make it blatantly obvious by how much you stare at her," he mumbled. Derek sighed, shaking his head as he turned his attention back to the woman across the room.

"Hey, Harlow!" Stiles called, "Derek wants to ask you something!"

Derek's eyes widened as he turned towards Stiles, who shrugged as he backed away. "Thank me later," the younger boy whispered harshly.

Harlow appeared next to Derek, shooting him a smile. "What's up?" she asked. Derek's let out a nervous breath as he made eye contact with her.

"I was just- I- I was-" Derek stuttered. Harlow raised an eyebrow at him. Derek mentally cursed at himself, knowing he was screwing everything up. He was never this nervous, especially not around women. Harlow sighed, grabbing the sides of Derek's face as she pulled his lips to hers. The man was shocked but quickly adjusted, his hands finding her waist.

As he pulled away, he furrowed his eyebrows. "How did you-" he started. Harlow grinned, chuckling slightly. "I heard you and Stiles from across the room," she answered. A smile slowly spread across Derek's face.

"So about that date I was about to ask you on. This Saturday work?"

Harlow nodded as Derek smirked.

"Great," Derek whispered as he leaned down to press another kiss to Harlow's lips. He hummed in satisfaction as he pulled away, smiling at the woman as he walked over to Stiles.

"I take it that went well," Stiles smirked, "I'm always right."

Derek raised an eyebrow at the boy, his expression turning serious. "I'm still going to kill you."

Stiles's eyes widened before he ran away, screaming. Derek simply rolled his eyes.
