Scott stood at the bottom of the stairs at his girlfriend's house, conversing with her father. He was clad in an all black suit, waiting for his prom date to walk down the steps.
"Wow, darling. You look amazing," Serenity's father said, turning his attention towards the top of the stairs. Serenity smiled as she started on her way down the stairs. Scott watched her carefully, completely entranced in her beauty.
"You look... lovely," he whispered. Serenity chuckled as she took his hand, reaching up to peck his cheek.
"Thank you, Scotty. And thank you, Pops," she said, looking into Scott's warm brown eyes. The boy bit his lip, smiling down at her.
"Alright lovebirds, let's get one picture in before you head to the school," Serenity's father said, smirking at his daughter and her boyfriend. Scott nodded, his hand dropping to Serenity's waist.
The two posed, grinning excitedly at the camera. Scott leaned down, pressing a kiss to Serenity's cheek. She let out a laugh, allowing her father to snap an adorable candid of them.
