《Chapter Twenty Seven - B06-32》

。。。[1/21/2046 - 10 : 00 AM : 3rd POV]。。。

"No enemies in sight! Let's head out now." Emma signaled, with the other kids following up behind her. 

As soon as everyone got out from the dead vampire tree labyrinth, everyone started swarming the vast and clear area. 

"WOAHHH!!!!" Chris gaped in awe.

"SO HUGE!!!" Don followed up afterwards, receiving a small chuckle from Luna. "Better watch your mouth, Don." Luna advised. "I assure you, yours isn't that big!" Luna said, emphasizing her statement with her hands.

"What do you mean???" Don asked. Luna didn't answer him, but only gave him a small smile. "Nothing." Luna said as she walked away from him. 

"Keep heading southwards to arrive at your destination." Sonju instructed, pointing at the cleared area. "Gee, you sound like one of those 'GPS' things in books." Luna commented, with Gilda elbowing her to shut it.

"NOOOOO!!!! Mujika!!!" Some of the children whined, latching onto Mujika's dress. "I don't want to say goodbye!!" Alicia said, tearing up. "Can't you stay with us for a little while longer?" Mark asked.

"Don't be so clingy, everyone, the two have a date in the wild." Luna stated, winking back at the kids. "She's right, we need to be strong enough in order to survive on our own." Ray said as he laid his hands on Mark and Alicia's heads.

"Don't worry, you won't run into any of those 'demons' as long as you stay out here!" Mujika assured. "If all goes well, you'll be able to meet up with this, 'Minerva' guy." Sonju added, with everyone cheering back at him happily.

"But no matter what you do, don't ever stray back into the forest or go near a body of water, understood?" Sonju pointed out. "Y-YES! ROGER THAT!!" Thoma and Lannion said, saluting back at the demon.

"Stay safe, and don't die." Sonju advised. "Thank you, Sonju." Ray thanked him, receiving a short nod from Sonju.

"Stay well please, all of you!" Mujika said, holding onto Gilda's shoulders. "You too, Mujika!" Anna said with a smile.

"Emma." Mujika called out.

Emma turned her head towards Mujika's direction, and felt something being passed onto her hand. "Mujika??" Emma said curiously. Mujika then pressed her finger against her lips, making a 'shush' sign. 

"This, will serve as a good luck charm! I'm confident that it'll keep you all safe." Mujika hoped. she then leaned forward onto Emma's ear, whispering something to her. 

"Look for 'The Seven Walls." Mujika instructed, with Emma looking back at her confused. "The future you all are hoping for, lies beyond this point." Mujika restated, with her backing away from Emma with a smile. 

"YOOOO!!!!! Tangerine! You ready to go now?" Luna asked, waving over to Emma. Emma gave Luna a short nod and ran back over to the group of kids waiting for her.

"Bye Sonju and Mujika! Thank you all so much!" Emma thanked as she waved back at the two demons in the forest.

"Good bye!! We hope to meet you all again!" Mujika waved back at her. With that, the kids then left the forest area, with Sonju and Mujika standing there alone. 

"....You seem quite attached to the kids, and I thought you were indifferent at first." Sonju said, breaking up the silence between them. 

Mujika looked back at the kids from a far away spot, and turned back to Sonju. 

"Humans, I think, they're probably the escapees we were told about. If we capture and return them back to the farm, we would have an easy life for at least the next 6 months or so." Mujika said, walking back to the tall demon.
