India. A land of diversity, and different cultures, and unique lifestyles. A place where everyone is different, and knows the world differently.
And yet, we are not divided.
Diverse, but unified. Contrasting cultures, in harmony. Unique, but toget...
On the afternoon of 14th February 2019, a CRPF convoy was hit by a Pakistan-backed Jaish-e-Mohammed suicide bomber vehicle carrying over 100 kg of explosives, around 40 of our brave soldiers were martyred, with many critically wounded, and the attack is said to be one of the deadliest of all times. The CRPF convoy was on its way to Srinagar when the attack happened near Pulwama district. The perpetuated identifies was a 22-year boy named Adil Ahmed Dar.
The whole nation cried as the news of 40 men losing their lives reached the households, a nationwide protest was held demanding justice and revenge for our Indian soldier against the cowardly act. It certainly wasn't the first time when the brave men were martyred against terrorist attacks and conspiracies. According to news, 12 days after the attack around 12 Mirage 2000 fighter planes struck the Jaish-e-Mohammed camp at Balakot around the wee hours and destroyed one of the biggest camps near the POK region. It was during the same time when the wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman's aircraft was shot and he was held as a hostage. His returning safely back to the motherland is considered one of the proudest moments for the nation.
United Nations and many other countries stood up with us against the heinous crime but were that the only solution? Today's youth demands the right order and questions when will this pattern end? They killed ours, we killed theirs'- but should this pattern continue?Terrorism is not an internal matter and neither is peace and humanity. It's the problem that asks the world to stand as one and destroy the root cause. The fight shouldn't be against one man or one nation but the mentality of humanity.Terrorism is the evil that calls the soldiers of Peace.
We are at a time when the world should together tackle problems like world hunger, immunization, quality, better living conditions and not one country fighting another over religion, land, resources and whatnot.
