Music is magic and a world without music would have no meaning. Music is such a thing that can’t be put into words. Also known as Fete de la Musique, World Music Day is annually celebrated on June 21 to honor all the musicians around the world. The first World Music Day was observed in 1982 and was the initiative of Jack Lange, the Culture Minister of France. He, along with Maurice Fleuret, a music composer, started Fete de la Musique in Paris. This day is also called “Make Music Day”. The primary aim of celebrating this day is to provide free music and also to motivate amateur musicians to showcase their work.
