Beginning of the end Part 1

We met dad at the astronomy tower to see him looking out of the balcony. When he heard us he turned around with a big smile

" Harry my friend you need a shave" Dad Said and Harry felt his face and I just laughed.

" you know at times I forget how much you've grown, you both have, at times I still see the small boy from the cupboard and he young girl at the orphanage, forgive my mawkishness Harry, Cassie , I'm an old man"

" you still look the same to me sir." Harry Said

" just like your mother you're unfailing kind, a trait people never fail to under value I'm afraid, that one of the reasons I'm so grateful that your with my daughter. Your able keep up with her bullshit and not complain about it, trust me it's hard" Dad Said

" oi! I'm not that bad" I Said and sad smiled at me

" I know , your perfect the way you are" Dad told me " the place to which we journey tonight is extremely dangerous, as we all know. I promise you could accompany me and I stand by that promise but there is one condition, you must obey every command I give you without question"

" yes sir"

" sure dad"

" you do understand what I'm saying?, should I tell you to hide you hide , should I tell you to run you run, should I tell you to abandon me and save yourself you just do so"

" no" I Said

" Cassie...."

" no dad I won't ever leave you.... I've already lost one father to that place I won't loose another"I told him

" Cassie can I just talk to Harry alone please" Dad Said and I walked away so I couldn't hear them

Dumbledore's PoV

" Harry I need you to promise me something" I told the boy

" anything sir"

" I need you to look after my little girl, I need to know you will always be by her side , to protect her, to get her to safety even if she refuses to do so, I need to know if I go , there will be someone in this world to make sure she is okay" I said as I knew the fate that was going to come

" I promise sir" Harry Said

" good, she's my whole world Harry, she's my little girl. It broke me when I lost her once. I can't loose her again, she has too much to live for" I said looking at the girl

I still see the little five year old that used to hide under my cloak after I adopted her, she refused to leave my side even when I was giving my annual welcome back speech she would hold my hand not wanting to let go.

She's my little princess, my little star, and it's kills me that I have to do this.

" I promise sir that I'll protect Cassie life , even if it means giving up mine" Harry said

" that Harry is something we can agree on and Harry.." I started

" yes sir"

" call me Albus"

" okay ... Albus" Harry Said

Cassie PoV

Dad asked Harry and I to take his arm

" Albus I thought you couldn't apparate within Hogwarts?" Harry asked dad , since when does he call dad by his first name

" well being me has its privileges" Dad Said and we apparated to in front of the cave.
