Cassie PoV

I woke up to what felt like the worst headache ever , is this what a hangover feels like.

The ground felt cold and wet and I sat up and pain rushed to my head and I felt something sticky on my face. I lifted my hand up and touched it and saw that it was blood , I look around to see where I was and I saw giant stone snake head along the sides and statue of Slytherins face at the end of the wall. That's when it it me , I was in the chamber of secrets, how did I get here. I tried to remember what happen before and I did , I was trying to save Ginny from Riddle ...Ginny! Where is she. I look around frantically trying to find her , then I saw a body on the floor . I stood us and ran to her I put my head on her chest to hear her heart beet and there was but only faint one , I shook her body

" Come on little red wake up"

Kept shaking her but nothing happens and tears form in my eyes . I heard a sound and my head shot around to see who it is and there stood Tom Riddle .

I stood up again and ran to him

" What did you do !!!" I screamed

" don't worry she's not dead ....not yet anyway"Riddle Said in a calm voice

" why"

" oh you see as Ginny grows weaker I grow stronger"

" you bastard!"

" that's a strong word coming from a small little mouth" Riddle Said as he grabbed my face in his hand , his cold fingers squeezed into my cheeks . And then he threw me into the flood and I scraped my elbow and blood ran down it.

" why take me with you , you could have just killed me"

" why do you think I would kill you Cassiopeia"

" because your the heir of Slytherin"

" what a smart girl you are , now tell me how did you figure it out"Riddle Said circling around me

" since the day you took me and Harry into the dairy , your face said it all ,it was as if you knew what had happened to the girl and you was quick to show Hagrid getting caught , you framed him but that was all a hunch seeing you here in the chamber told me I was right" I smirked but that went away quickly and Riddle smiled

"Dumbledore taught you well he didn't trust me neither, your so much like him even though your not related , you have the same spark in your eyes as he did , and like him your defeated by but a memory of me"

" am I?"

" yep, my dad my not be in the castle but his legacy still goes on there are still people out there willing to fight for what is right like him ,and I will not be brought to my knees by a wanna be villain who was to much of a coward that he had to stop his plans because my dad caught on to him, and look at you , who do you think you are"

I looked at riddle who look very pissed off at what I told him , and he took out a wand that I recognised to be mine

" you dare speak to me like that , do you know who your talking to!!"

" an idiot on legs"

Riddles eyes grew darker and his lips turned into a smirk and he stepped closer to me and I stood up and moved back

" Cassiopeia Dumbledore , your adoptive father would be proud of you , he would be so proud to call you his own"
