Jon's pov

"Hey Dames there's a lot over here!" I called. Bushes rustled and parted to reveal Damian. He wiped a bit of dirt off his cheek.

"Good work Kent." He said, beginning to help me gather the wood I'd found.

Our parents had decided to let us go camping together. It was just for a weekend but it'll be fun. At first Damian wasn't too keen on spending a few nights alone in the woods with me but after some begging and bargaining, he eventually agreed.

"I think this should be enough, don't you agree?" Damian asked, turning to me. I glanced at the large gathering of wood in my arms.

"Yeah I think so!" I said with a smile. We then started heading back to our site.

"Put the wood here." Damian instructed. I did as Damian instructed and set the wood down near him as he started making the fire.

We'd gathered a good amount of wood, probably wouldn't need to get anymore from the woods. I began unpacking dinner which consisted of hot dogs we'd cook over the fire. Damian's were vegan of course which meant the six regular ones were all mine.

I pulled out some tinfoil from the cooking utensils bag and made a sheet that we could lay over the fire.

I heard crackling and glanced over to see Damian had started the fire. I found myself looking to his eyes which were fixated on the flame in front of him. The flames flickered in the reflection of his green orbs.

He glanced at me with a triumphant smirk. Hopefully he hadn't noticed my staring. "I told you I could make a fire without your silly heat vision." He teased.

I rolled my eyes. "Screw you Wayne."

~Time Skip~

"You want one?" I asked, holding a marshmallow up for Damian to see. "I'll make you a s'more."

"I'll pass." He shook his head. I frowned.

"What? Why? They're so good!" I exclaimed. "Here try mine." I offered the s'more to him. Damian sighed before taking an oh so delicate bite. He covered his mouth as he chewed.

"Well...?" I asked.

"Too sweet. Just give me the chocolate." He held out his hand. I sighed.

"I need it for s'mores." I said.

"Take half. I want the chocolate Jonathan." He said sternly. I snickered at his seriousness.

"Ask nicely." I teased. Damian rolled his eyes.

"May I please have the chocolate?" He grumbled.

"Well of course Damian." I said mockingly, giving him half the chocolate bar. "Here you are your majesty."

Damian snatching it from my grasp beginning to nibble on the corner.
