Dick's pov

"Damian get off your phone." Bruce said. Damian scoffed but reluctantly shut off his black iphone. "You've been on that thing so much recently." Bruce continued.

"Well I'm off it now Father." Damian said, picking up his fork.

"What are you even doing on there?" Tim asked. Damian rolled his eyes.

"That's none of your business Drake." He hissed.

"I bet he has a secret lover." Jason piped in with a teasing smirk.

"Yeah right. I don't have time for silly things like romance." Damian said before taking in a spoonful of soup.

"Well guess what demon, you were created from 'silly things like romance'." Jason continued in a mocking tone. Damian was ready to snap back but Bruce beat him to it.

"Not at the dinner table please Jason." He said. Jason shrugged.

"Just sayin'." He mumbled before continuing to eat.

"But Jason's right Damian, romance isn't silly." Bruce continued.

Damian released an exasperated sigh. "I thought we weren't talking about this." He said.

"We're not but I don't want you growing up believing that loving someone romantically or not is silly." Bruce said firmly. Damian shifted food on his plate.

"I'm aware of that Father. I just don't care for it too much right now." He said. Bruce nodded.

"He's at that age." Tim declared. Damian glared at the older boy.

"That's enough boys." Bruce said with a warning tone. Everyone was silent for a bit after that. Damian broke the silence.

"Father I'll be going out for a few hours tomorrow." The youngest Wayne said.

"Ooh! He's meeting up with his secret lover!" Jason butt-in.

"Shut up Todd!"

"He's not denying it!"

"That's fine Damian. May I ask who it's with?" Bruce said, ignoring the chaos. Damian hesitated.

"Just someone from school." He answered flatly.

"It is a date!" Jason shouted.

"Jason that's enough!" I exclaimed. Jason stuck his tongue out at me but stayed quiet.

"Just don't be home late and remember the rules." Bruce said. Damian nodded.

"Understood Father, thank you."

"Do you guys think Damian really does have a boyfriend or girlfriend?" I asked Jason and Tim as I leaned against the desk of the Batcomputer.
