Announcement.

My hands started to sweat and the microphone was slipping out of them

'So I'm sure your all wondering where Negan's men have gone. Well I have some brilliant and shocking news for you' I said putting down the microphone running back stage and returning with a back pack

I knelt down in front of my audience and unzipped it staring at Negans bat which still had my wet blood on it from earlier. I pulled out the bat with one harsh tug and revealed it to everyone, a ocean of gasps and confused whispering swirled around

Rick Daryl Michonne Maggie and Carl ran up to me on the stage and started asking me questions 'it's okay I'll explain everything just sit down' I picked up the microphone and continued 'As you all know, this is Negans bat. Well I'm here to tell you that the war is over. I killed him'
The quiet gasped soon erupted into cheers and yells a smile spreading across my face seeing the joy this brought everyone

"HOW DID YOU DO IT?"
"WHAT HAPPENED"
"WHEN"
"WHAT ABOUT THE OTHERS"

'I know you all have questions and I will answer them all! I killed him a few hours ago, as you can see the blood is still fresh' I said waving my blood around playing it of as my dads

'On my way home I came across him in the woods alone and took the opportunity to take a bullet to his head. After this I took away the bat and caved his skull in avenging Glenn and Abraham' I looked to the side of the stage, a tear ran down Maggie's cheek as she mouthed the words thank you to me. I felt guilty for not actually killing him

'After this I left his body to the walkers. I soon realised the people at the sanctuary would start to question Negans disappearance and come here looking for answers. I went to the sanctuary with Negans bat like it was a trophy, a lions head to be displayed. Once I got in there and told everyone he was dead they started cheering, it was only ever about him. Thats where I found y/f. We are safe, the people at the sanctuary are taking care of them selves and will cause no threat to us. Your welcome. I hope you will all sleep peacefully tonight knowing Alexandria is safe' I put down the microphone and was instantly swarmed with pats on the back along with congratulations, thank yous and more.

Carl and Daryl took me aside away from the crowd "You killed your dad!?" They asked in disbelief. Out of all the people here Carl and Daryl where two of the least I wanted to lie too

'Yes, if you dont believe me you can ask y/f' I walked away quickly trying to avoid any other questions when I was stopped again by a tight hug

It was Maggie

"Thank you so so so much y/n you made me proud, you made Glenn proud, you made your un-born little brother proud. I love you" I sunk my head into the crease of her neck and stayed there for a while knowing I hadn't made her proud and if she knew the truth she would be disappointed in me. I would rather lie to her than have her think I was a failure.

I finally managed to escape the swarm and get back safely into my house, alone. I locked the doors and ran up to my room grabbing the closest pillow to me and let out a frustrated scream into it. I was a failure. I should of killed him when I had the chance. I SHOULDN'T OF SHOWN MERCY.

My fury was cut short when I heard a tapping at the window, I opened it up and looked around. Carl was at the bottom throwing stones

"Can I come up?"

I nodded, he climbed the frame onto the roof and into my window. I waisted no time and rushed into his arms startling him causing him fall back onto the bed

'Carl I'm so sorry'

He put his hand on my back slightly confused and comforted me "what do you mean your sorry what's wrong?"

'I lied Carl! I lied to all those people out there I'm a disgrace!' I hid my face in his chest not wanting to make eye contact or accept the truth

"Y/n. Which part was a lie" he said sternly pushing me of him, his hands on both my shoulders forcing me to look at him

'He's not dead.' I weakly whispered

He closed his eyes and let out a deep breathe calming his anger "Oh y/n... You made it up? Where is he, you know we are going to have to kill him" we where sitting on the bed frame facing each other a tear in my eye and empathy in his

'No we dont. He wont cause any more trouble I swear! I threatened his life! Carl please dont make me kill him. I just needed to tell you the truth'

"Its okay. Come here" he said opening his arms forcing a smile

I crawled over to him and lay on his side wondering if he was disappointed with me 'do you hate me?' He laughed and kissed my forehead holding my face with his hand "of course I dont, it's okay you did the right thing. I'm proud of you y/n and I'll never hate you or be disappointed at what you do. Your smart and I know you will never make a bad decision" I closed my eyes and he pulled the bed sheet over us and we where just about to fall asleep before the door unlocked and I heard Rosita talking to y/f followed by Rose's little giggles. Y/f and Rose walked upstairs and came into the room

Rose instantly jumped over and buried her self between me and carl almost falling asleep within seconds and y/f laughed sitting on the stool "Soooo is this the famous Carl Grimes?" She teased. Carl turned to me and laughed "you told her about me?" I hid my head under the blanket with embarrassment soon returning to reply

'Of course I did, shes my best friend and your my boyfriend!'

"Oooh so I'm your boyfriend now? Didnt know we where giving out labels" he said poking me in the side

Y/f laughed at us "well I'm going to leave the little family alone, I approve of him already y/n you found a good one" she was about to leave before she rushed over to me and whispered "damn hes hot as fuckkk nice find" I laughed hysterically and she ran out of the room, Carl yelled after her "I HEARD THAT!"

Rose had fell asleep between us so we tried to keep the laughing down to a minimum until we where laughed out. We lay on our sides staring into each others eyes not saying a word. We where both leaning in and eventually our noses met and we kissed. I pulled away, not that I wanted to, for air and we blushed ridiculously even though we where already dating. He put his arm over Rose and I took his hand.

"Goodnight. I love you y/n"
