"Howdy my lovely people, it's me Chloe and today I will be trying to spend 24 hours in a haunted child's orphanage, note I have been here before, this is one of my favourite places in Australia, and you wanted me to come back so here is your wish. This place apart from being my favourite is one of the scariest places I've been to one reason being the amount of spirit activity that I've encountered and the amount of evil graffiti that is plastered there, so hopefully I survive tonight" I finished the into to my video and put my camera down, this orphanage was my favourite place to explore in my hometown, it was super creepy and it would probably be the last time I see it for a while since I'm moving to LA.
I stepped in through one of the windows and it immediately felt different, I spoke in just above a wisper, "So guys, I feel a little scared right now, I heard footsteps and I'm really hoping thats the ghosts because there is quite a lot of them and I don't fancy getting attacked by a cult" I laughed quietly as I finished the sentence. I kept the camera on my and showed it the room I was in, I kept hearing footsteps and what I'm hoping was the wind but it sounded a lot like whispers.
I had been in there for a while and I was just walking around since I knew the area pretty well, I heard a noise so I spun around, that was definitely a voice, and it sounded like there was more than one. They were getting closer to me so I hid behind one of the pillars but kept my camera on to catch anything.
"So guys ignore that I'm speaking very very quiet right now but I heard voices, like human voices and I'm kind of hiding right now, their getting closer and I'm just praying that they are either just exploring like me or something and not trying to kill me"
I stopped speaking abruptly when I heard someone shout hello. They were right behind the pillar, this guy walked forward and saw me, we both jumped and pointed our cameras towards eachother, I let out a sigh of relief and a laugh while the three other guys caught up to us, "Omg I thought you were a cult or something" they laughed as I put my hand up against my chest, they were explorers just like me.
-Colby's pov-
We heard a girls voice and footsteps so Sam yelled hello, he jumped back so we all ran towards him, there was a girl with a camera dressed in black and her hair under a beanie with her hand against her chest, we both turned off our cameras as we all came together, "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, I had to explore this place once more before I left, and I'm guessing that's what you're doing?" She had a strong Australian accent so we guessed she was from here. I recognised her face but I'm not sure what from, Elton walked forward, "Yeah, I'm Elton, this is Corey, Sam and Colby" she shook each of our hands and then introduced herself, "I'm Chloe, I think I've seen you guys on YouTube before" then we recognised her, "Wait you're Chloe, you explore like super crazy haunted places right?" Corey laughed as she sighed, "Yeah that's me"
She talked to us about how she had explored this place a lot of times before and she was exploring one last time before moving to LA. We walked around and she told us about the amount of spirit activity in this place and it was mental.
-Chloe's pov-
I learnt that the four guys were Elton, Corey, Sam and Colby. I had watched one of their videos before so I knew who they were and they knew who I was to, I had to repeat a lot of what I was talking about since my accent was quite strong but I found it quite funny.
We explored for a while and I filmed some stuff on my camera and showed the boys quite often, they were all shocked about how destroyed the orphanage was and I couldn't wait to tell them about Tommy. Tommy was a spirit that I first encountered on my second trip here, I was with my brother Jacob and we discovered that Tommy likes to touch peoples arms and be close to people, he liked to play with my hair and I often felt tugs on it when I came here alone so I wasn't sure if I was going to see or feel hun today.
We were walking around the kitchen when Corey looked a little freaked out, "I didn't want to say anything about this place being haunted, but it was either my jumper being folded and unfolded or something touched my elbow" I was quite shocked that Corey was the one to feel that, I took the time to explain it since I didn't want to leave anything out or scare them.
"Oh yeah that's just Tommy, he's a little kid, it's really nothing to worry about"
I kept walking as they all just stopped, Colby walked forward, "I'm sorry who?" Everyone looked a little freaked out so I turned my camera on and turned it to the boys, "So Corey has finally met my good friend Tommy, Tommy is a young boy around the age of 8-10 and I first encountered him with my brother when we were here, he feels more comfortable around boys, probably because he lived most of his life with boys but he does often play with my hair or tug it but he likes to touch my bothers arms or his shoulder so he probably is just communicating with you" they all looked shocked, Corey had tears in his eyes from the fear probably of being the one touched, "So it's just a little boy, that's so sad" Sam sighed as he kept the camera on me. Corey had calmed down but walked right beside Elton, Colby was walking beside me and talking whilst we found a new place to look around, "So how long have you done this type of stuff then, you seem pretty alright with ghosts and stuff like that" I nodded in agreement, "I've been doing it for around five years, I started when I was 16 just exploring like abandoned places and stuff but now I'm like older and have more balls to do this stuff it's easier" he laughed and we talked for a while.
When we had finished exploring I realised the boys weren't spending the night here and a lot had happened that night and I didn't know if I wanted to stay there either, more activity had happened than I had witnessed the whole entire time and I had a flight to catch in the morning and I debated driving back to my apartment tired and in the dark or staying in an abandoned orphanage that is practically falling to pieces, a tap on my shoulder scared my but I turned around and it was just Colby.
"Uh I was supposed to stay here for the full 24 hours but i kind of have no choice because I hate driving home in the pitch black and it's pretty late anyway, so I'll probably just stay here" they all turned to me like I was crazy, Sam stepped forward from the place where he was stood, "Do you really think we are gonna let you stay in this place alone?" I was confused on what they were trying to say, Elton decided to join the conversation "You're welcome to stay on the couch at our place if you want, you can't stay here, no matter how much of an abandoned orphanage expect you are" we all laughed, I didn't want to intrude.
They somehow managed to convince me so we filmed the outro to both of our videos, we did the boys first and then mine, I put my camera on a ledge and the boys stood beside me, "Well, my lovely people that was a crazy video and that was probably the most activity I have witnessed in that place but sadly I will not be able to explore this place for a while since I am moving to LA as probably some of you know but turns out these four lovely boy beside me also love in LA so you can expect many more collabs from us and sorry I didn't get to stay 24 hours but they wouldn't let me so I probably won't be able to film for a bit so for now I will catch you later people" I turned my camera off and sat beside Colby, these boys were fun and I liked filming with them.
