18- protector?

I had been thinking about the whole situation about Amara, and I know I shouldn't but I want to play the ouija board, just to see if anything is in the house or around me.

Colby was still asleep beside me, I figured Sam wouldn't mind playing with me and neither would Elton, they're both weird like that. But for Corey I didn't want to play it whilst he was here and it was the perfect time, he was out of town for the week with Devyn.

"Elton?" I figured he was in the garage probably editing or something. And as always I was correct.
"Yeah?" I sat down opposite him on the couch,
"Ok so you don't have to agree with me or say yes I am not going to force you but I want to play ouija just to see if there is anything near me right now" I got quiet at the end of the sentence not sure if he would agree, he sat next to me placing a hand on my shoulder,
"I know how much this is affecting you so of course I'm gonna help you, and before you ask we won't do a video on it" I smiled up at him, these boys are what keep my going.

I had asked Sam and Colby if they would play and they said yes, I was a bit worried but I knew that if anything was going to happen and I think Colby could sense it, I was sat in my room finding my sage in the box in my cupboard.
"Baby?" Colby knocked on the door and walked in the room, I stood up and sat on my bed,
"Chloe I understand why you want to do this but please don't push yourself" I leaned into his side as he wrapped his arms around me,
"I need to do this Colby"

We talked for a while about random things, we decided to get it over and done with so we wouldn't have to have Aaron walk in halfway through talking to a ghost or something.

I was burning sage in the kitchen whilst Elton lit the candles and put out the board,
"Not to be strange but right now Chloe is reminding me of one of those full on witches" Sam laughed as we sat down, we all joined before calming down.

As soon as I placed my fingers on the planchette I got the weird same feeling as I got at the suicide bridge, I felt Colby leg entwine with mine under the table so I have him a small smile.

They looked at me to start the questions,
"Is anyone with us right now?" The back on my neck started to itch but I just thought it was my hair moving. The planchette started to move to yes, I sighed and dropped my head,
"How many spirits are here right now?" It almost immediately went to one, it was a little relief but there was still something here,
"Notice how quickly that went or was that just me?" Elton states as we all nod in agreement,

"Do you know who I am?" I asked quietly nervous for the answer, it went to yes slower this time, I groaned as I led my head back. Sam cleared his throat before speaking,
"Who are you?" My eyes widened as I looked at Sam, I really didn't want to know the answer to this.

It slowly moved to a T, my eyebrows furrowed in confusion although I was so glad it wasn't an A. We waited for it to spell out the letters and I gasped at the name it read out.

'Tommy'

I slightly smiled knowing that he meant none of us harm, I felt the back of my hair move as if someone was playing with it,
"Yeah, it's him, he's playing with my hair" everyone was happy that it wasn't anything bad,
"But Tommy, why are you here" it started to spell out words quickly. My eyes started to water, this was the first little ghost I had met and he was with me now,

'Want you safe'

Everyone looked to me and they saw me crying, they were all slightly crying,
"Chloe, he's protecting you!" Sam smiled but kept his fingers on the planchette. I sniffed before speaking,
"Yeah I guess he is"

Colby was next to ask the question,
"What are you protecting her from" I sighed, I was having such a good time and now my amazing but stupid boyfriend ruined it,

'Bad'

I nodded already knowing the answer to the question, it was already pretty late and we had already spent almost 2 hours doing this so we had to end it soon,
"Ok Tommy if you're still here, how long are you going to protect me and be with me for, also this is the last question so goodnight little guy" the boys smiled at me, I know it sounds stupid talking to the ghost like this but it comforts me in a way.

'Always, goodnight'

We pulled it to goodbye, each of us collapsed in our seats, my hand was wrapped in Colbys,
"So I'm safe for now?" I slightly laughed as I looked at the boys, they all smiled at me,
"Looks like you made an impact on Tommy" Colby stated as he moved closer to me.

These boys were my family, they were my boys.

I was washing my face in my bathroom as I placed my hands on my mirror, after pushing my hair back, I grabbed my towel before walking back into the bedroom, but a sight caught my eye, two small handprints in between mine, for once I wasn't terrified to see something like this. I heard Colby walking back into my bedroom so I quickly left the bathroom shutting the door, not before whispering,
"Goodnight Tommy" I felt a light tap on my hand and a small tug on my hair.

I had a smile placed on my face as I sat on the bed calling Auggie up to sit with me, Colby looked at me suspiciously,
"What's up with you then?" He placed a small kiss on my lips before scratching Auggie's ears putting his arm around my shoulders,
"Just happy" I smiled beside him, putting my phone on charge.

I never thought I would say this but maybe I'm glad to be near a ghost.
