I woke up by the sound of my phone ringing, Colby stirred beside me but not fully waking up, I pulled on my jumper and answered the phone, "Hello?" I heard a familiar voice speak back to me, "Hey Chloe it's me Jasmine, sorry about the no caller ID I just got a new phone" this confused me a bit, she had just got a phone last week but maybe she just broke it or something.
"So what's up?" She was acting strange, stranger than usual, "Oh I was just calling to let you know that I'm arriving in LA this afternoon" what was going on, she wouldn't just come on a holiday for no reason, "Oh ok is Ella coming?" She cut me off, "No!" I pulled the phone away from my ear as she yelled, "Ok bye then I'll see you later Chlo!" She hung up quickly.
I sat back down on my bed not exactly sure what was going on, but she's my best friend and maybe Ella and her just got into a fight or something, it wasn't that I don't want Jasmine to come to LA it's just she's more of an Australian type of girl, she always claimed how she didn't like the LA area, but maybe she changed.
I felt hands on my shoulders, I turned to see Colby giving me a massage, "You looked tense, what's up?" He spoke in his sleepy morning voice, oh how I loved his morning voice. "Jasmine just called to say she was arriving in LA, but she seemed off? I don't know" I sighed, "Well don't worry about it now, we need to go shopping for presents!" He pulled me up grabbing a hoodie from his closet and throwing it to me.
It was a month until Christmas and I had already got most peoples presents, I had got Sam's, Kat's, Aaron's and Elton's, so I only needed to buy Corey's Devyn's and Colby's. I had a rough idea what I wanted to buy for everyone so it wouldn't take me that long. But, I guess I would now have to get a gift for Jasmine since she was coming out of the blue.
The mall was decorated in beautiful colours, there were trees everywhere and lights, Colby laughed slightly at the excitement at my face, I grabbed his hand and pulled him forward, "Come on Colby, we have presents to buy!"
I kept getting the feeling that someone or something was watching us, the air around me felt heavier, stranger, it felt the exact same as it did all those years ago, but I'm sure it nothing, probably just the winter chill or something.
I had grabbed Corey's present, Devyn's and Colby's, I even grabbed a little something for the dogs. We were walking round the market, looking for Christmas treats to try for a video for my channel, when I saw a little teddy bear, it was a vintage Sandy colour and looked quite old, Colby went to pick up the hot chocolate that we had ordered, so I decided to check it out.

"Hey, is this bear for sale?" The person behind the counter looked quite surprised, "Oh yes, yes it is, but I must give you a heads up, this belonged to a little school boy who passed away from an unknown source at the age of ten, not many people tend to buy things like this as they suspect something might be attached" I became interested by this, "Like a spirit? Of the little boy of course" he nodded, "Have you ever experienced anything" I asked quietly, he nodded once again, "Well, I do hear little voices sometimes, small boys crying, laughing sometimes talking, but it's always gibberish" I smiled slightly having an idea, "I'll take it, I have an idea of who to give it to" he looked shocked for a second, "Hear, take it, a Christmas gift for whoever you choose" he handed me the bear, with a smile, "Thank you"
I found Colby walking back with two hot chocolates, he gestured towards the bear in my arms, "What's that?" I smiled looking at the bear in detail, "It's a gift for a special someone"
We were all sat around the living room, watching Christmas films, we had started with elf, we paused the movie when we heard a knock at the door, "I'll get it" I pushed Colby's arm off me and walked out the room.
The knocking continued as I jogged to the door, I opened it to find Jasmine, but she didn't look like Jasmine, her hair was now a dark red and she had changed her style completely, but the light behind her eyes also seemed to have disappeared, that's what worried me the most.
"Jasmine?" Everyone's heads turned in the living room, Colby came up to join me, "Hey Chloe" she came in and wrapped her arms around me, I hugged her back quickly, she was finally here, I've finally seen my best friend again.
Most people had gone to bed and Jasmine was staying in my room whilst she was here, I offered to stay in Colby's since we usually sleep together anyway. I wanted to check on her before I went to bed, just in case she needed anything.
The door was wedged open a little bit and I could here talking inside, I put my eye to the crack in the door, Jasmine was sat on the bed, facing the mirror, her hair was in a tight bun on the top of her head, she seemed to be talking to herself, her head quickly turned to the door, her eyes seemed strange, almost like they had changed colour but I didn't stick around to stay and look.
Auggie was growling outside her door, I pulled his collar to Colby's room, ever since Jasmine arrived Auggie has been acting really protective over all of us. It's probably just because he isn't used to her yet. Colby was already in bed scrolling through his phone, I pulled the blanket over me as Colby showed me pictures he took us today. He set the one picture of us as his Lock Screen,

I smiled as I turned the light off on my bedside table.
Everything was silent throughout the house, apart from the occasional bang from my room. Chills went down my spine as a breeze drifted through the house, causing me to hear a little whisper, "Stay safe" I closed my eyes for a second thinking if I dreamt that, but then I was proven wrong when I heard again, "Tommy will protect"
Third persons pov Jasmine's head whipped towards the door, seeing Chloe's eyes through the crack in the door, she left quite quickly causing Jasmine to let out a low chuckle, she faced back towards the mirror, looking at her sunken face, her brown eyes changing to a red. A red that was sure to mean danger if anyone was to look, to stare, for even a second.
Everything was quiet in the house, everyone was sleeping, of course with the exception of Jasmine, she had paper, sat loosely in her lap, her eyes closed, listening to the sound of the bangs coming from the closet.
The bangs in question weren't just ones of a coincidence, they were being made by the person, whose name at this very moment was being written in jagged handwriting on the paper that sat in Jasmines lap, a sick smile plastered on her face as she did so. The one name that would cause fear if it was said around anyone who was either there that horrid night, not 10 years ago in the old treehouse, or anyone who now knew the story, the myth, the legend, the woman in black alike,
