Chris POV
"Cmon man lets go to the carnival downtown today. Sarah asked me to take her there and you know i cant refuse her. It would be boring alone so lets go with us i know the others will also join us. So you in?" asked my bud Travis.
" Travis you know i cant come, i have to babysit Skyylnn. My parents are going out and my younger brother has to go to a stupid party."
Travis and the others were really annoying me, askimg me to join them to a carnival, i really didnt wanna go.
The gang was so busy asking me to join them when Rosie joined us and introduced us to her new friend Shiv.
She was so beautiful. I had never seen a natural beauty like her, her dark hair was covered by a beanie, her hazel eyes shined bright and she looked Indian.
I was just gonna ask her if she was an Indian when Rosie told us she indeed was an indian, but was born and raised in Kenya.
I was so intruiged by her beauty to notice when the lecturer came in and started his talk. It was hard to concentrate when a certain hazel-eyed beauty had stolen my attention.
I think she felt my stare and turned back to face me. She gave a small smile when she noticed me staring and went back to listening to the lecturer.
My whole day was the same. My thoughts were clouded with Shiv. I wanted to know more about her.
As the lunch bell rang we all headed to the cafeteria, we bought our lunch and sat at our usual table.
After a few mins i saw Shiv, Sarah, Leah and Rosue heading to the canteen to get their lunch. When they came to the table i saw Shiv only had a packet of flavoured milk and some salad.
I wondered why she didnt take the hamburger and lasagna the canteen had to offer today.
"Hey Shiv why didn't you take a hamgurger or some lasagna?" Asked Luke politely
She replied saying she was a pure vegetarian. I then understood her and she told us she was a hindu. She was out of bounds for me. I myself was a pure veg but i was a christian so i knew she wouldn't go out with me.
I was so determined to get her no matter what and before any of the other guys hit on her. I had decided to ask her out as soon as possible.
I had to take the chance. Fate will decide the future but for now she will be mine.
