natalie's eyes widened when she heard and shot elliott a panicked look. he just shook his head with a smile and struck a pose for the cameraman, who scurried off.
"he saw us! they'll make it seem like we're dating or something!"
"this isn't the first time i've been caught with a woman, nat. if they post the pictures, i'll just post an explanation."
"but your company -"
"allows its idols to date. we're fine."
natalie hesitantly nodded and slid into the seat beside elliott, going back to being super excited.
"wow, i can't believe i'm meeting you again! i was thinking about dropping by riot later, turns out i don't have to after all!"
"so whatare you doing in seoul?"
"i wanted to see if i could get some inspiration for a project i'm working on for uni."
"what course are you taking?"
"photography. you?"
"psych with fashion designing. it's an awkward clash, but i'll live."
she laughed and pulled out her phone, "can we exchange numbers? i've wanted to see you again for a long time, i'm not gonna let you slip through my fingers again."
elliott felt a pang of guilt as he thought back to how he had alienated everyone he cared for, and lost so many friends from back in marais. then he had moved to seoul to escape the mess he had created and never got to reconcile with everyone.
