Steve POV
As I was walking around I heard the sound of someone singing but not in English. I started to walk towards the sound to find Natasha and Madeline. They were cuddling and it was Natasha who was singing, she actually had a really nice voice.
But as much as I hated to interrupt, I had to.
"Sorry to interrupt but I need you down at the lab. Both of you." As I said this they slowly moved and looked up at me. Nat whispered something to the kid which she nodded at before they both got up with Madeline holding Nat's hand.
They followed me into the lab to see Tony and Bruce talking. "Alright what's up?" Nat asked
"Tony and Banner created a murder bot" Thor stated
"I'm sorry what?!" Nat almost screamed
Not quite getting the nature of Nat's question Thor repeated, "Tony and Banner-"
"And you let the?!"Nat and Madeline chorused. "You let Tony, create, a murder bot?" Madeline continued
"Wasn't just me" Tony muttered "And anyway, we weren't even close plus you remember the alien invasion, humm. Well now we know there are bigger threats out there we need to be ready."
"Banner what about you? Your supposed to be a sensible one." Madeline asked
"Well he is right, we do need to be prepared but it just went a little wrong." Banner replied
"So what were you tying to do then, because if it has anything to do with keeping us safe et cetera it would probably mean you forgot the second half of your code." Asked Nat.
"That doesnt matter now, we just need to sort it out."
"What exactly does he want?"
"He said something along the lines of 'peace in our time' and that the 'Avengers were the problem' and 'humanity needed to be reborn' and such"
"The Avengers were the problem" Madeline said
"Yes, thats what he said" Tony answered
"You created him and he turned against you, yes" Madeline said directing to Stark
"Yeah"
She turned to look at Nat who seemed to immediately understand what she was processing
"You just gave him and the enhanced some common ground." Nat continued
"Which is" I asked
"Hatred of Tony Stark"
...
"Why does it always have to be me" muttered Tony
