I WOKE UP TO Ginny pushing me onto one side of the bed. "Move." She sat on the other side.
"Go away, my body needs at least ten hours of sleep." I groaned, covering my face with a pillow.
"Mom put her vibrator battery in my toothbrush."
I pulled the pillow from my face, looking over to her. "What?"
"Mhm. She pulled out her vibrator and put the batteries in my toothbrush. I have a vibrator toothbrush!"
"Shut up, crazy. Austin's gonna hear you." I sighed, rolling onto my back. I heard my phone vibrate, so I took it off charger and looked at the notification. It was Marcus asking if I wanted to hang today. I groaned, pulling my pillow back over my face and screaming.
"Woah, what's wrong?" Ginny asked, wearing a concerned look.
"Nothing yet. I don't know, I'll tell you later." I shook it off, walking out of my room and into the bathroom where I took a shower and brushed my teeth. I texted Marcus back, telling him I'd meet him outside in twenty.
I did my hair, and dressed in a crop top and jeans, grabbing my phone and heading out the door. "Hey good lookin'." Marcus saluted.
"Don't ever say that again." I laughed, walking over to him.
"I'm offended, you didn't return the complement." I chuckled slightly, before returning back to my serious state.
"Uh, can we talk?" I walked over to the sidewalk and sat on the edge.
"Yeah." He furrowed his eyebrows. "We just started this and I already messed up?" He joked, laughing slightly.
"Yeah, what is-" I stammered. "what is this?"
He shrugged. "What do you want it to be?" He stretched both of his arms out behind him, leaning on his hands.
"Have you ended things with Padma?" I broke eye contact, looking at my hands.
"I told you, me and Padma aren't a thing."
I looked back up at him. "Yeah, well you're not not a thing. I mean, you've been hooking up and if we're gonna be a thing, I don't want you and Padma hooking up."
He sighed, letting his head fall back. "Yeah, okay. I'll get to it when I get to it."
I scoffed, standing up. "I'm glad you feel that way because, me and you? Not happening until you and her are over. I thought that would've been obvious from the beginning, Marcus." I walked back into my house and sat on the couch, puffing out air.
"Oh, you're back. Do you wanna come with me tonight to hang out with Hunter, Brodie, Press, and Padma?"
"Why is Padma gonna be there?"
She shrugged. "She's in their band."
"Okay, let's go."
Once we got there, we were escorted to the basement where Press was on the couch, playing video games, and the rest were scattered. Brodie came running up to me.
