Bobby really did just want the best for Jack. At least that's what he told himself as he found himself sitting across from Jackie in her home. It wasn't going to be easy. But what was best for Jack was Jack becoming President.
"First, Ms. Onassis I'm so sorry for the loss of Aristotle. How's Caroline doing?"
Jackie shifted in her seat, obviously uncomfortable. "She's okay. She's had a rough few days. But she's very happy when Jack is around and I'm thankful for that."
Bobby nodded. "Listen...my brother is in love with you. And that's great. But...you could cost him this election. Do you love him?"
"I do love him." She murmured.
"Then...just walk away. At least until the election is over. Because if he doesn't win...it will be because of his relationship with you. You know the saying, right? If you love something set it free?"
Jackie blinked and shifted. "I'm...going to cost him this election?"
"I believe you will."
"I don't want him to lose because of me, Bobby."
Bobby nodded. "Good. Then you know what you have to do. At least until November. After that...do what you want."
