Love Can Be Deadly

Love

I'm almost there, ready to end this curse once and for all. I can see the light through my eyelids but there's one thing that's stopping me from finishing. Closing my eyes, I try to focus on my memories but nothing comes up. The only person who does is Severus. I try again and again but he's still there.
I realized that I have no more memories left.

I know it's not over because nothing is happening to me. I had to see where this is taking me. When I closed my eyes again and focused on the last missing piece, I see Severus in front of me, standing with his hands behind his back.

'I'm standing in a dark room with one candle lit. But I don't see my past self anywhere. Instead, I only see me. I look down at my clothing but notice I'm still in my bra and black jeans with black socks on.'

'Wait, what's going on?'

'"So..." Severus spoke. I immediately look into his eyes and see no emotion. I lift up my hand to touch his face but his hand grabbed my wrist with more force than he ever did before. He yanked my arm away from him. I try again but this time, I immediately regret it.

"Don't. You. Dare. Touch me." He said through gritted teeth. He pushed me back slightly and started walking away. I'm so confused but I'm trying to figure out what's going on.

"Severus?" I ask in a quiet voice. He stops in his tracks and turns around.

"Professor." He states coldly.

"What?" My voice cracks.

"It's Professor to you." He put his hands behind his back and slowly walked towards me. I step back until I'm met with a stone cold wall behind me. He towers over me until there's only very little space in between us.

"But you let me call you Severus. I thought we-"

"WE!? YOU EXPECT ME TO BE WITH A GIRL WHO CAN'T EVEN DEFEND HERSELF!?" He yelled.

I flinch but I don't move my eyes from him.
"Yes. I said I love you and you said it back. Remember?" I stay calm but inside, I'm terrified of what's going to happen.

"That," he paused for a moment. "Was a mistake. You mean nothing to me." He turns around and walks towards the door that I haven't seen before. My eyes widen in shock but I know this isn't real, is it?

I follow him quickly before he walks out the door. As I see him step through the doorway, I follow and barely made it in before it closed on me. I stare at the door behind me for a moment before turning around and finding Severus. When I turn around, I see the most painful sight in my eyes.

He's not alone.

"Hi honey, how was your day?" A woman with red hair spoke. The same woman I saw in the photo. I try speaking up but it's obvious that no one can hear me. I step forward, but I'm stopped by an invisible glass in front of me. I use my hands to find an opening. When I didn't find an opening, I start banging on the glass to have someone help me. I scream but its impossible for them to hear on the other side of the glass.

I had no choice but to see what's happening.

"Not good, those dunderheads don't have the brains to understand the ingredients." I see Severus sit at the dining table, burying his face in his hands.
