Dahlia smiles as she walks down the street. It was raining but she wore her favorite red raincoat which made her feel happy. As she walked down the street she saw a boy sitting on the sidewalk. He wasn't wearing a raincoat which made her frown.
"Excuse me, aren't you cold?" She asks as the boy looks up at her. "A little," he replies. "Why don't you go inside?" She asks looking up but she got her answer when she saw a man and a woman arguing inside. "You can borrow mine," she says before he could reply.
"No thanks," he says as she unzipped her raincoat. "It's nothing. I like the cold. Also, my mum made soup. We can go get some if you'd like," she says handing him the coat. "Thanks and I'd like some soup," he says smiling as he puts the coat on.
"Okay. My name is Dahlia Jones," she says holding out her hand. "I'm Reggie. Reggie Peters," he says shaking her hand. "We're going to be best friends Reggie Peters," Dahlia says smiling before the two walk to her house.
