The sound of swords clanging was the only thing that reverberated around the woods.

Alexander was currently in the fifth hour of his duel with the unknown, white-clad monster he'd been finding himself paired against as of late; neither one had so much as gotten even a slight upper hand.

Their blades glinted off the light filtering through the leaves, reflecting across the trees and grass in a flurried frenzy as the two swordsmen fought like their lives depended on it.

Alexander pushed his opponent back, twirling his sword as he attempted to catch his breath. Just as the two moved to re-engage an invisiportal appeared between them, revealing a rather irate Elsa.

"You," She spat at Alexander.

He looked over her shoulder to see his opponent vanish into a small red crack in the ground.

"What about me," Alexander wiped the sweat off of his face, focusing on stabilizing his breathing.

She drew her sword, "My master wants to meet you."

"Flattered," Alexander snarked, resting his blade on his shoulder, "But I don't do groupies. My sister, on the other hand..."

She screamed and charged the demorphed green ranger.

He sighed while walking towards his new opponent, readying his blade.

The two began to parlay, Alexander's experience made itself known as he deflected all of Elsa's attacks with relative ease, but something was off. Her attacks were so projected, so easy to read, that it began to set off alarm bells in his head.

Alexander blocked another one of her attacks, deflecting the blade high into the air, striking the woman in the abdomen as he flitted past, right into a large gaggle of monsters.

She began to cackle.

"Oh, son of a bi--"

He barely blocked a strike from a pair of tyrannodrones.

Alexander dispatched them with a quick maneuver, spinning to come face to face with the villainess, his weapon already cutting through the air.

She barely parried his strike, face contorting to rage as she realized that her plan had fallen apart. Elsa began a flurry of attacks, one lucky backswing of hers caught his hand, the spine of her sword splitting the skin across his knuckles.

"If you're trying to take me down," Alexander let a rare smirk cross his face, shaking his off-hand before dropping back into his fighting stance, "You gotta be quicker than that."

"Hey," Kira caught up with the guys, Conner's mind seemingly elsewhere, "What's up?"
