Jongin's POV
It was Saturday and I finished my essay a little bit early and now, I'm dueling Chanyeol.

We've been practicing our powers just a little. Since I can teleport anywhere I wanted to be. While Chanyeol has fire, I dodge them easily.

"Yah! Why you have to be so good?" He asked.
"Cause I am." I replied, smirking.

He rolled his eyes at me.

"Jongin-ah!" I turned around and it was my Dad.

"The duel is over, Hyung." I said.
"Ne, Arraso." Chanyeol said.

I nodded and went up to Dad.

"Walk with me, will ya." He said.
I nodded and followed Dad.

It suddenly became quiet. Between me and him.

"Aboeji, where are we going?" I asked.
"You'll see once we get there." He replied.

I hummed in response.
"Jongin, I'm getting older. And I know someone will have to take my place for leading the pack." He said.

"What about Suho? He's very good at leading the pack." I suggested.
"I know. But I was thinking you should take my place, son." He said.

I was speechless about that.

"Aboeji, I noticed that I wouldn't be a good leader for the pack. I'm just good at following orders. And I know you would be upset that I won't take your place. Minaheyo, it's not my place to take." I said, bowing my head.

All of a sudden, Dad let out a chuckle.
"Just like your mother. Always know you're place. I understand what you're trying to say, son." He said.

I looked at him go continue.

"When I was your age, my father allowed me to protect the pack, I tried to deny it but he died right after I came back from meeting your mother. So, I took his place to protect the pack." He said.

"What does Mom think about it?" I asked.
"She's fine with that. As long she's by my side supporting me." He replied.

I slightly smiled at that.

"We're here Jongin." Dad said.

I stopped and looked around, then I saw what's in front of him.

A gravestone.

And it has writing on it.

Park Shin Hee
A loving Mother, friend and daughter

Dad bend down and traced his fingers on the writing.

"Annyeong, Shin Hee." he said.

I was staring at the stone for a long time. By the time Dad finished talking, he turned to me.

"Your turn to talk to her." He said.

I nodded and walked up to my mothers gravestone.

I bend down and did a polite bow.
And the wind started to come in all of a sudden.

Mom? I thought.

I feel like she's here already.

I closed my eyes and thought what I'm about to say.

Eomma, it's Jongin. Your only son. I miss you so much, even though I haven't met. I wish you're still alive and I wish you can be able to see me graduate. But in my heart, I felt your already there. I thought.

Jongin, just remember...I'm always there for you, even though I'm there in spirit.

I opened my eyes and looked around. I thought I heard a voice somewhere.

"What is it?" Dad asked.
"Nothing." I replied.

Then I closed my eyes again.

From now on, Mom. I'll be visiting you everyday. Saranghaeyo. I thought.

"I'm done Dad." I said.

He nodded as I got up.

"Lets go. They might be hunting right now." He said.

"Who?" I asked.

"The vampires." he replied.
I nodded and we walked back to the pack.

I'll be waiting for your visit, my son
