Chapter 57

I quickly grabbed Tyler by the shoulders and pushed him behind me. There is no way that you he is being anywhere near my son.

"Melissa?" He stepped forward but I took one step back "don't come near me" he sighed but stayed where he was.

He looked down at Tyler "wow you can't mistake him from being Harry's kid"

I pulled Tyler closer to me "What do you want Flynn?"

"Can we please talk somewhere more private?" I don't want to be anywhere with him.

I shook my head and looked around "whatever you have to say to me and be said here"

so everyone can see.

"Look, I'm sorry about what happened a while ago" I scoffed and held Tyler closer to me "you're not sorry, you're the one who turned up to my party uninvited"

Flynn sighed "I didn't know Jack was going to do what he did!"

"Why should I believe you?" Flynn took a step forward but I took another one back "Maybe because I was the one who called the police"

"That was you?" I always thought that Damian was the one to call the police.

Flynn nodded his head "Jack told me what he had planned and I refused to help him after he said he was going to hurt you that way"

"I tried to stop him but he drugged me the night that it happened. I woke up to him gloating about what he did. I was waiting for you to call the police but you never did, so I called them up but asked them to keep it anonymous"

I looked down at the pavement "I heard about the accident" I looked back up with tears in my eyes "everyone has"

"He's crazy, we all know that he is"

I looked at him confused "who?" His eyes widened "you don't know?"

"Don't know what?" Why are there always secrets?

Flynn shook his head "Wow Danny is still keeping secrets"

"What secrets?" This is really confusing me now. Danny is hiding something from me again.

"The driver of the van which crashed into Harry's car is in the hospital as well, on the same floor as Harry"

"How do you know all this?" Flynn shrugged his shoulders "I have my ways"

"We need to go" I need to talk with Danny, he told me that he won't hide things from me anymore after what happened last time.

I grabbed Tyler's hand and waved for a cab. About 10 mintues later we had arrived at the hospital. We got onto the elevator and up to the floor that Harry was on. Steph smiled when she saw Tyler and took his hand and she lead him to the reception area.

The door to Harry's room was ajar so I walked in to see Anne, Des, Danny and Niall sitting in the room. Harry was still laying on the bed, unaware.

Danny stood up from the chair once he saw me walk in. I sat down in the chair and took Harry's pale hand in mine.

"Anything happen?" Anne shook her head and leaned closer to Des who was staring at his eldest sons unconscious body.

"Where'd you take Ty?" Danny leant against the wall next to me "that cafe that he loves" I ran circles into the back of Harry's hand "I also bumped into someone"

We all looked up when the door opened and Damian walked in. Danny looked back over to me "who was it?"

"It's better if we talked outside" Danny nodded his head and walked outside. I stood up as well and took Damian's hand "you too" I know that Damian is also in this as well.

"Why are we out here?" I crossed my arms and glared at the two of them "something you want to tell me?"

"Who did you bump into today?" I looked down at the floor "Flynn"

Danny's eyes widened "What?" I sighed "Ty ran off so I went after him but he bumped into someone. I went to apologise and turned out to be Flynn"

Danny grabbed me by the shoulders "did he hurt you?" I shook my head "no but he did tell me something interesting"

"And what was that?"

"The driver of the van is in this hospital and that you have known for days" Danny and Damian both shared a look.

"It's actually true" I thought that Flynn was lying but now I know that it is true.

"When were you going to tell me?" I gestured to Damian "you lied to me. You told me that the driver ran away but he's in this hospital on the same floor as Harry"

"We didn't want to worry you" I scoffed "I have been worried ever since it happened!"

"Who was the driver?" Damian shook his head "you don't need to know right now" I shook my head and backed away.

"Okay"

I walked over to the reception area and smiled at the nurse at the desk "the driver that caused the crash that Harry was in, what room is he in?" The nurse looked at the computer "room 105"

"Thank you" I walked past the guys but Danny took a hold of my arm "What are you doing?"

"If you won't tell me who it was then I'll find out myself" his eyes widened as I yanked my arm out of his grip and continued down the hallway.

"MELISSA!" I knew that they were following me but I walked faster and followed the signs.

I stopped outside the room 105 but the door was closed but what made me stop walking was the two security guards standing on each side of the door.

I felt a hand on my arm "Mel please don't" I shrugged Danny off me as I walked over to the window to the room.

My hand flew up to my mouth as I took a step back, stumbling into Danny who wrapped his arm around me to keep me steady as I stared at the man laying on the hospital bed.
