Background Knowledge

Ok, so if some Keeper readers need a refresh or some new readers need some help, here it is!

Mr Forkle- Sophie's old next door neighbor in the human world, someone Sophie goes to for advice or help

Fitz- A Telepath, full name Fitzroy Avery Vacker (FAV), youngest son of Alden and Della Vacker, Elf, Teal eyes, Sophie's Cognate, Dark hair, student at Foxfire

Biana- Fitz's sister, a Vanisher, daughter of Alden and Della Vacker, youngest child, student at Foxfire, Teal eyes, dark long hair, Sophie's friend

Alvar- Fitz and Biana's brother, joined the Neverseen (bad guys), later found in the Nightfall facility where he was captured by Sophie and her friends, Vanisher, former student of Foxfire

Sophie Foster- an elf who was raised in the human world, she had her genetics tweaked with, unique brown eyes, student at Foxfire, Telepath, Enhancer, Teleporter, Inflictor, Polyglot,blonde hair, adopted by Grady and Edaline Ruewen

Dex - Dex Dizznee, son of Kesler and Juline  Dizznee, Technopath, strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, student at Foxfire, Sophie's best friend

Wylie- Wylie Endal, son of Cyrah and Prentice Endal, Flasher, elite student at Foxfire

Tam- Tam Song, Linh's twin, silver dipped bangs, elf, Shade, son of Quan and Mai Song

Linh- Linh Song, Tam's twin, silver dipped hair and black hair, elf, Hydrokinetic, daughter of Quan and Mai Song, used to live at Choralmere

Keefe- Keefe Sencen, icy blue eyes, Empath, son of Lady Gisela and Lord Cassius, blonde hair, Sophie's close friend, lived at Candleshade

Kesler- "Talentless" meaning that he does not have a special power, father of Dex, Bex, Rex, and Lex Dizznee, husband of Juline, owner of the shop "Slurps and Burps"

Juline Dizznee- Froster, mother of Dex, Rex, Bex, and Lex Dizznee, and wife of Kesler

Juline and Kesler are a 'bad match', meaning they were not approved by the matchmakers.

Della Vacker- dark hair, teal eyes, mother of Fitz, Alvar, and Biana Vacker, wife of  Alden Vacker, Vanisher, beautiful with perfect heart shaped lips

Alden Vacker - Telepath, teal eyes, former Cognate of Quinlin Sonden, dark hair, father of Biana, Fitz and Alvar, husband of Della Vacker, lives at Everglen

Prentice Endal- Father of Wylie, husband of Cyrah, mind used to be broken, Telepath

Cyrah Endal- mother of Wylie, wife of Prentice

Grady Ruewen- Mesmer, Sophie's adoptive father, husband of Edaline, lives at Havenfield, father of Jolie

Edaline Ruewen- Conjurer, Sophie's adoptive mother, wife of Grady, lives at Havenfield, mother of Jolie

Jolie was Grady and Edaline's daughter, but she died in a fire.

Mai Song- Linh and Tam's mother, black hair, lives at Choralmere, grandmother used to have the last name Tong, wife of Quan

Quan Song- Linh and Tam's father, black hair, lives at Choralmere with his wife Mai Song

In the elvin world, twins or triplets are treated differently because they aren't good things in the elvin world. Linh and Tam are twins, and Linh couldn't control her water(Hydrokinetic) powers, and her parents let the Councillors banish them. They have a rocky relationship with their parents.

Havenfield- a place where a lot of exotic animals are kept and secured by Grady and Edaline, Grady and Edaline Ruewen's home

Lady Gisela- creator of Lodestar, Keefe's mother, lives at Candleshade (until she became a leader for the Neverseen) Lord Cassius' wife, Polyglot

Lord Cassius- Keefe's father, Empath, Lady Gisela's husband, lives in Candleshade (or the Shores of Solace)

Everglen- the Vacker family's home

The Vackers are almost like royalty in the elvin world.

Telepath- a person who can read someone's thoughts and mind

Polyglot- someone who can speak in all laungauge and might be able to mimic someone

Empath- someone who can sense someone else's feelings with physical contact

Keefe can feel Sophie's emotions without touching her.

Enhancer- someone who can boost another elf's power by touching hands

Inflictor- someone who can hurt someone with an emotion

Mesmer- someone who can control another to do something

Conjurer- someone who can make things appear by knowing where they are

Cognate- a rare connection between two Telepaths and when there is a lot of trust between the two

Hydrokinetic- being able to control water

Pyrokinetic- being able to control fire

Shade- being able to control shadows and darkness

Flasher- can control light

Vanisher- being able to vanish for a period of time

Froster - can control ice

Forbidden Cities- elves are forbidden to go here, the human world

Lost Cities- the elvin world

And if you read the book halfway and don't understand something, chances are it'll be in part two! Just keep scrolling, people, and you'll find it.
