No way. Just- no. There was no possible way.

Sophie looked at the girl.
Then at the picture of Fitz.
Then the girl again.
Then the picture of Fitz.

Then at the teacher staring at both the picture and Sophie.

"Erm.. hello." Sophie said to the teacher, "We were just, uhh, talking."

"No we weren't." The girl said. "I was showing her the picture of the cute b-"

Sophie clamped her hand of the girl's mouth and said, "No need to worry about us!"

The teacher raised an eyebrow.

Then Sophie silently said 'Or the picture of Fitz.'

Mr. Johnson walked away, saying to call him if they needs anything.

Sophie let her hand go.

"WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT?" The girl whisper-yelled.

"Nothing."

"Ooooh you like him!"

"No I don't!"

"Yes you do- AHH you're blushing!" The girl squealed.

Mr. Johnson looked at them. "Sorry!" The girl mumbled.

The girl turned back to Sophie. "You like him- no point of denying it!"

Sophie crossed her arms. "Fine! But you do too!"

The girl's cheeks tinted red for a split second and then turned back to normal.

Sophie thought the girl was a little fishy, so she decided to be friends with her and try to find out how she got the picture. She seemed nice, though.

"So, uh, my name's Sophie."

"My name's Cassandra, Sandra for short."

"Nice to meet you, S-"

The bell for the ending for 2nd period rung. Had she spent almost the whole period wondering about the picture?

"BYE!" Mr. Johnson called, "HAVE A GREAT REST OF YOUR DAY!"

Everyone except for Sophie left, she was waiting for it to not be so crowded when she left.

She stood up, waved at the teacher, and left for third period.

The rest of the day uneventful but lucky.

In third period, she met a person named Tony.

In fourth period, she luckily avoided Samuel.

In fifth period, it was loud. Like, people making noise that was supposed to be a flute note but ended up something not far for dying ducks loud.

Or chickens.

And, now, she was heading to lunch.
She walked into the cafeteria, and it was a close second to the loudest place in school.

She saw Samuel waving her over, so she joined him.

At least she wasn't alone.

At least she had someone to sit with.

She sat down.

"Hi." Sophie said.

"Hi. My friends and my sister are coming over to sit with us if you don't mind." Samuel replied.

"I don't mind."

"So, did you finish your book?" He asked with a wicked grin.

"No thanks to you."
