Annabeth walked out of her school building, smiling when she saw Percy's car parked in the front of the parking lot. He got out and when she was closer, picked her up and hugged her. Then they kissed.
They broke off and he hugged her again. "I missed you," he whispered into her hair.
"Yeah, me too." She said. But she wasn't really paying attention to him. She was paying attention to the 'popular girls' walking past, dumbstruck looks on their faces. They couldn't believe that the nerdy, quiet girl actually had a boyfriend, and a hot one at that.
