Percy and Annabeth's daughter, Maya, was not only like Percy because of looks but also because she had a love of the ocean. When they would go to the beach, Percy and Maya would always be the ones in the water while Annabeth read a book on the beach.
They would spend hours in the ocean until Annabeth would call them out, telling them it was time to leave. The people who were surrounding them usually found this sight quite funny.
One time they wouldn't get out and Annabeth stormed in the water, intent on forcing them out if she had to, only to be engulfed in waves. When she came up drenched in Percy's arms, she glared at him for a long time before yelling, "you are grounded! Both of you!" And stormed back toward the shore.
"But... but Annabeth!" He called, following after her with their daughter in tow.
