Annabeth and Percy were watching the movie Titanic. Towards the end, Annabeth got upset, thinking about what would have happened if she'd been on that ship.
Percy laughs. "If, for whatever reason, I wasn't there with you to stop the ship from sinking at all, do you truly think my father would ever let anything happen to you?"
He was bewildered and a little concerned when she heard this and started crying harder.
