Percy, Annabeth, and Nico we're sitting in the dining pavilion. Nico and Annabeth we're arguing over which one of them had the better boyfriend. "My boyfriend is a doctor." Nico said, smugly.
"And my boyfriend is a hyperactive dolphin." She said, taking this moment to make fun of her boyfriend.
"What?" Percy yelled, causing other campers to look at them. "Are you cheating on me? Who is it? How can you talk to it? Why?"
Annabeth looked back and Nico and said deadpan, "a pretty stupid hyperactive dolphin, apparently."
"I still have to meet him and teach him a lesson!"
All the campers who were paying attention to them went back to their own conversations after realizing that it wasn't anything serious.
