Daddy Zay's POV

"What the hell man?!" Maddox yelled out.

"Shut the hell up, you got some guts to try and kiss my wife. What were you even thinking?" I asked him angrily.

I watched as he held the left side of his face while staring at me in shock, "Punching me as soon as you walked into my room was a little unnecessary don't you think?" He asked.

"And besides... I wasn't really gonna kiss her. I had seen you at the door so I chose to tease you a little. I didn't think you'd punch me square in the jaw!" He mentioned.

"It'll heal." Was my only response.

After a few moments of silence Maddox finally began to explain everything that went on in here, his story matching Axarii's. "Okay, but don't you ever pull a stunt like that again... or I won't be so nice next time." I told him. I'm pretty sure he could tell that I was joking, somewhat.

"Yes sir." He laughed out. Sometimes I wonder how he's the older brother.

"So... you didn't go too rough on Axarii did you? I heard you slam your door and it took you a while to come back here." He teased out, I couldn't help but roll my eyes at him.

"Not that it's any of your business, we didn't have sex. I just gave her a little ass whooping and a little punishment." I shrugged out.

The smirk on this guy's face was really starting to piss me off. "Oh... so you ate her out." That wasn't a question, he knew. I couldn't help but cringe at his words. I don't know why but the way he said it made me feel weird.

The playful expression on his face then turned serious before he spoke out, "But seriously, you've put her through enough already. Stop pushing her away and start actually showing that you want what's best for her, and that doesn't mean you force her into being with you. If she still wants to be with you then you'll know. So fix your act... or I'll kill you."

I sighed out in response before walking towards the door, "Go to hell."

"You know you and the kids can always stay here sweetheart." I heard my mother say just as I was about to walk into the living room. I know I shouldn't eavesdrop on their conversation but I was curious.

"Yeah I know, I just don't know what to tell them if they ask why we can't go back home... even though they saw Winston as a uncle I know they also saw him as a father before Xavier came into their lives. He was there through my toughest moments, he gave me advice when I felt like giving up... Christina he was my best friend and I relied on him so much that it hurts to know he would do something like that." I heard Axarii cry out.

Just hearing her crying over that bastard pissed me off. All I could think about was beating the shit out of him.

"I want to hate him so fucking bad but I just can't... I don't know how." I heard her muttered out.

"Oh sweetie... no one expects you to hate him. What he did is unforgivable and there's no excuse that could possibly help him out. But he was your best friend for so long so it's understandable that you still feel that way. Feelings don't just vanish. Why don't you ask Xavier if you guys could stay with him first? I know you may not want to because of all of the tension between the two of you but you have to think about the kids and what's best for them as well. Just remember that you're always welcome here." She explained out softly.

After a few moments I decided to walk into the room, the two of them stopping their chat when they realized I was in the room. Before they could say anything else I had sat down next to Axarii.

"I think you and the kids should come and stay with me at my place. I'm not trying to pressure you or anything I just think you would be safer with me and I'm pretty sure Cole and Reyna would love that idea. It's just a suggestion, just like my mother said you are always welcome here." I said.

I wanted her to know that I wasn't going to try and make her come with me. I want her to know that her voice is important as well. Although I wanted this, I was really hoping she'd choose to stay with me.

"I... I don't know, I think I should break most of the news to both Cole and Reyna and see how they feel with our situation." She muttered out.

Christina nodded her head in agreement before bringing her in for a tight embrace.

"Mom-" I began but stopped when I saw the way she was looking at me.

"That's completely fine dear! Come on, why don't we go find them now? I bet they're somewhere playing with Delilah." She asked, the two of them getting up from the couch.

I couldn't help the small sigh that came from me.

Well... Let's just hope my kids want to stay with me or else I'm completely fucked.
