When they reach the bank of the river, the phantom gets off the boat, leaving Paul inside.

The phantom takes off his cape.

"I have brought you here. To the seat of sweet music's throne." The phantom sings.

"To this kingdom where all must pay homage to music." He sings while walking up to his piano.

  "Music."

"You have come here for one purpose, and one alone."

"Since the moment I first heard you sing, I have needed you with me. To serve me, to sing."

The phantom turns back to Paul.

  "For my music."

  "My music." He stops.

"Nighttime sharpens. Heightens each sensation. Darkness stirs, and wakes imagination."

He starts walking closer to the boat that holds Paul.

"Silently the senses abandoned their defenses."

The phantom lets out his gloved hand for Paul to take, to which Paul stands up and takes.

"Slowly, gently. Night unfurls its splendor."

"Grasp it, sense it. Tremulous and tender."

Paul turns to look behind him until he feels a gloved hand grab his chin.

"Turn your face away from the garish light of day."

"Turn your thoughts away, from cold unfeeling light." Paul looks down and see's a model of him from tonight at the Cavern.

"And listen to the music of the night."

"Close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams. Purge your thoughts of the life, you thought you knew before."

"Close your eyes." He commands. This time Paul obeys.

"Let your spirit start to soar."

  Paul opens his eyes again.

"And you'll live, as you've never lived before."

The figure lets out his hand, and Paul takes it again.

"Softly, deflty. Music shall caress you." He leads the man up a few stairs to where some candles and the piano are.

"Hear it, feel it. Secretly possess you." By now, both men are inches away from each other.

"Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind."

"In this darkness that you know you cannot fight."

"The darkness of the music of the night."

"Let your mind start to journey through a strange, new world. Leave all thoughts of the life you knew before."

"Let your soul take you, where you long to be!" He belts out.

"Only then, can you belong, to me." He sings, now much softer.

The figure turns Paul around so he can put his hands on his hips.

"Floating, falling. Sweet intoxication." He starts touching all over Paul's body.

"Touch me, trust me." He takes Paul's hand and places it on his cheek.

"Savor each sensation." Paul turns around to face the phantom.

"Let the dream begin. Let your darker side give in."

He starts leading Paul to a curtain covering up something.

"To the power of the music, that I write."

"The power of the music of the night..."

The phantom moves the curtain out of the way to let Paul see.

  What Paul see's shocks him.

A mirror, but with his reflection showing him in a white tuxedo that resembles a male wedding dress.

  Paul faints out of shock.

The phantom pick him up, bridal style, and carries him to a bed.

"You alone can make my song take flight." He whispers.

He lays Paul down gently and starts caressing his face.

"Help me make the music... of the night." He sings, gently, as to not wake the sleeping man.

He drops the see-through curtains and watches as Paul peacefully sleeps.
