John went to go pick up the rose that Paul dropped.

Many emotions were swirling inside of him. Anger, hatred, jealousy, but most of all, sadness.

"I gave you my music. Made your song take wing."

"And now, how you've repaid me. Denied me and betrayed me."

"He was bound to love you when he heard you sing. Paul..."

He can't help but cry.

He feels like he's been cheated on.

Paul and George's voices play over and over in the phantom's head.

Anger and jealousy build up inside him.

Quickly, his tears dry.

The phantom crushes the petals of the rose, lips still quivering.

He plans to get revenge.

He plans to win Paul back, no matter what.
