"so, how was your last period?" louis asked maeve as they walked towards his car. 

maeve shrugged, blowing a bubble with her bubblegum. "AP calculus is AP calculus," partridge chuckled while opening the door for her. "thank you," the girl piped up stepping into the car.

louis hummed and walked around to his side of the car. maeve buckled herself in and turned to look at the boy next to her do the same, "how was your last period?" 

"same old mr mcgiven," louis shrugged, turning the car on. maeve plugged her phone into the aux cord as an instinct before widening her eyes and looking at louis.

he laughed at her trying to be considerate, "you don't have to ask, mae." 

the girl played her music, obviously louis was used to this from when they were closer. the first song that played was somebody else by the 1975. maeve's favorite song.

louis and maeve sang every song stupidly on the drive home. they then pulled up to maeve's house, "thanks for the ride lou."

louis smiled widely at the nickname, "of course maevie!" the two waved goodbye and maeve watched him drive away down the street until he was out of view. 

she walked inside, kicking her docs off and heading straight for the living room. "how was school peanut?" jack asked sweetly as he saw his sister. 

"pretty good," maeve stated, trying to hide the obvious blush making it's way onto her face. 

"who's the boy?" finn smirked, knowing his sister did this the last time she met a boy. maeve pursed her lips, her one dimple on the left showing. 

"louis," jack smirked taking a guess. maeve's eyes widened in amusement as she heard the name. both her brother's eyes widened with her, knowing jack was correct. 

"are you sure about him?" finn cautiously asked, remedy nodded smiling. finn and jack sighed hoping this boy didn't do anything stupid this time. 

"alright. take out for dinner?" grazer questioned the two who gave him a thumbs up.

maeve thought for a second before suggesting food, "japanese?" 

both boys nodded and jack went on his phone to order the food, already knowing what they'd want.

it was the next day, friday. maeve jumped out of bed excitedly knowing it was the last day of school for the week (and they got a week off). "i'm off losers, buh-bye!" maeve called out walking out of the door waiting for a response. 

"see ya mae!" 

maeve left the house meeting harley and giovanna once again. "got my food?" the remedy girl asked.

"here you are," harley monico handed the girl a large salted pretzel. 

"i love you both, gosh." remedy whined happily as she bit into the pretzel. 

"yeah yeah,"

the three drove to school, not needing to pick up the boys again. once they arrived maeve dragged the girls to her locked before they could run away. "remind me what i need again," remedy asked once they stopped in front of her locker. the two other groaned loudly, face palming.

harley opened her friends locked and yanked out her charger and dangled it in front of maeve's face. "ohh, that's right!" 

the bell rang separating all three girls who had different schedules. maeve walked herself to her AP english class, silently thanking god for letting there be a clueless reliever instead of her teacher, so she could charge her phone.

after two hours worth of working, maeve had a free period for an hour and a half. she met up with louis who also had a free period (just not as long as maeve's). 

the pair walked around the school towards louis' car. the partridge boy leaned against the car with maeve facing him. 

they talked for a while, just enjoying each other's company, until louis had to go to class. maeve waved him away and walked to the library, knowing giovanna would be in there.

"hey gi," the brunette greeted the blonde.

giovanna smiled at maeve, "hey babe, what's up?" 

maeve checked the time on her phone, "we have an hour to kill, wanna get food?" giovanna excitedly clapped her hands together and shooting up from her chair before leaning onto the table and gripping her head.

maeve went to speak out of concern but giovanna bet her to it. "i'm fine, low iron levels." the blonde rolled her eyes before going back to normal and dragging maeve along with her. 

both girls took giovanna's car and drove to some random café. maeve got an almond croissant and an iced coffee while giovanna got a donut and hot chocolate. they munched on their food and sipped their drinks, catching up with each other.

without realizing they had spent fifty minutes in the café, the two walked out and checked the time, both their eyes widened as they sprinted to the car and started to drive away. knowing well that the drive was at least fifteen or twenty minutes. 

"oh thank god," remedy panted as they made their way into the school just before the bell went,
giovanna gave a breathy laugh while waving to maeve telling her she'll see her later at the beach to surf. 

maeve walked towards her next class, her iced coffee still in hand.
