Chapter 9: Suprise?

You stood there smiling as you threw the last of the confetti onto Rhoam's desk before looking back at your sister, who was nervously looking at her husband, waiting for his reaction.

"Y-You're- w-what-" He looked at you as you reached into your bag once again and was very happy to find out you still had a good handful of confetti left. You opened your palm and blew some towards Rhoam and some towards Amirah.

"Suprise!" You finally exclaimed, and Rhoam blinked a few times as he walked around his desk and towards your sister. She looked up at him, biting her lip, and you clasped your hands together.

"So we're... we're having a baby?" He asked, and she slowly nodded. "I... Amirah that's..." He sighed before leaning over and kissing her. You had a grin that went all the way to your ears, and then you saw Rhoam pull away. "I hope that makes up for what I'm unable say in words." Amirah giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him back into the kiss.

"So, on a scale of one to ten, how happy-"

"Eleven." Rhoam said, putting a hand on her head. She smiled and put hers on his cheek. "Well, if we're going to have a baby we need to start preparing immediately! We need to know what we're expecting, and to set up a nursery and we need to be sure everything is perfect-"

"Rhoam, honey," Amirah laughed a bit. "We have plenty of time to prepare. I promise." She smiled and he did too. "For now, how about we just relax and get ourselves ready for this."

"Right." Rhoam breathed, brushing Amirah's hair out of her face a bit. "I'm just excited. I'll admit, I didn't expect this to happen so soon after the wedding, but it doesn't matter because..." He reached down and then picked Amirah up bridal style. "We're having a baby!" He began kissing her face and she erupted into giggles.

"R...Rhoam!" She managed to say in all of her laughter. "W-We have to go see the captain! I told him we'd meet him soon."

"Okay okay," Rhoam said, putting Amirah back down on the ground. "Do we have to go now?"

"Yes, but it's not gonna be that long, trust me." She grabbed a piece of paper off of a desk and looked back at you. "We'll be done in a bit, _____! You're free for the rest of the day." The happy couple left, and you smiled with the thought of there being a new prince or princess.

You knew for sure that the kingdom would go crazy as soon as they found out, which is why you knew Amirah wanted to keep it secret for now. But what about Urbosa? Or Revali...?

At that point, once you finally turned your head, you forgot for a second about the baby stuff. As soon as you looked back at the Divine Beast Trial thing Rhoam showed you. And that's when you realized.
