You walked down the hall to meet with Captain Barry, as he was tasked by Rhoam to study the scrolls and translate them - he was the only one Rhoam knew that could even try.

It had been a few weeks since you and Rhoam's argument, and you hadn't seen him since. And you didn't get to see Zelda a lot either, but you enjoyed the time you did. You just wondered why. Maybe he was just that mad at you.

You pushed open the already cracked open wooden door to his study, and saw him sitting at his desk clicking his pen. You still knocked anyways, and he looked up at you, readjusting his glasses before smiling and welcoming you in.

"Princess _____! Please sit down." You sat in the chair across from his desk, and then you set the scrolls down in front of him. "So, first things first," He flipped through a few pages in his book. "Which scrolls is which?"

"This one is Goron," You opened one and revealed the Goron crest. "This one is Gerudo," You opened another and pointed at the Gerudo crest. "This one is Rito," You opened the third and showed him the Rito crest. "And this one is Zora." You showed him the last with the Zora crest on it. "And you can also tell the difference by the ribbon colors and slightly hued paper colors." You explained, and he nodded and started taking notes.

"So how does each one work? And how do they all work together as a team?" He asked, carefully examining the Gerudo scroll.

"I think we best go outside for that."

"Please be careful, Princess!" Barry warned you, and you waved your hand towards him, letting him know it was fine.

"So this is Rito," You leaped up, twisting yourself so you could do a full spin mid-air, and blew a gust of wind up, almost knocking Barry over but the weight of his armor kept him up. It also gave you an extra few seconds in the air. "This is Goron." You smacked your hands together, creating a red bubble around you but also making the ground shake a bit. "This is Zora," You reached out and asked for his sword, and he hesitantly gave it to you. You used it to give yourself a good sized gash on your leg, and Barry gasped as you winced. You healed it within a few seconds, and he looked amazed at how it looked as if it never happened.

"Wow!" He smiled as you handed him his sword back, and then he looked at the Gerudo one. "What about lightning?"

"Oh yeah!" You got yourself in position, and then aimed at a random rock. You got ready to snap your fingers, and felt the power by your side. But it didn't feel right this time. You tried to readjust your stance to figure it out, but just then, you heard Rhoam's voice out towards the castle, and you lost your train of thought and snapped anyways.

Yellow and white flashed through your vision at the speed of light, and you looked at your hand and saw the triforce symbol glowing. You then reached out to try again - ignoring Rhoam - yet with every snap nothing happened.

"_____!" Rhoam called out again, and you groaned in frustration with your powers, and then you aggressively snapped one more time in spite of it, and then just when you thought nothing was gonna happen, you heard lightning strike and Rhoam cried out.

Whoops.

"I'm sorry, Rhoam, really I-" Rhoam put his unharmed hand up to silence you, and you sighed and began healing his hurt arm to the best of your ability.

"I was just trying to see if you were available to have a word with me." He said, and you let him know his arm was healed and then you asked why. "Since you're going to become queen," You quietly grunted since you thought he would've given up after your fight. "You're going to need to get married so you have a king." And then he interrupted your next sentence. "And no, don't say anything about that Ravioli, I don't want to hear it."

"His name's Revali, Rhoam. I figured you'd know his name after what, five or six years?" You scoffed, and he rolled his eyes and stood up.

"Get in here, Finn." You knew that last name. And of course, the door opened, and in walked Nolan.

"What's Nolan doing here?" You asked, and Rhoam laughed and put his arm around Nolan.

"He's your arrangement, _____. What else do you think I'd have called him in for at this time?" Rhoam smiled and patted Nolan's back, and you glared at the 'hero'. Sure, Nolan was your childhood friend, but that didn't mean you wanted to marry him.

"I thought it was okay for me to marry Revali! Amirah said-"

"Did she say this to you before or after her visit with the yiga?" He asked, and all you could mutter was the word before. "Then it doesn't apply to the present. We didn't know we'd lose her that day, nor did she. So now, I'll let you two be alone. Nolan, remember what we talked about." Rhoam then left the room, leaving you alone with your 'future husband'.

"So... how have you been?" He asked nervously, and you didn't answer him. "I-I mean, I know things haven't exactly been great for you, and I just wanted to sa-"

"I'm not marrying you." You snapped walking to sit on the other side of the room, folding you arms and keeping you eyes on the window.

"But _____, why not?" You snickered a bit at his question, and the poor boy looked so confused.

"You're standing here asking how I've been? If you must know, Nolan, I haven't been all that great." He nodded slowly and you huffed. "I lost my sister last month, I'm struggling to keep all this power stuff in line, now I'm being forced to take the throne and marry someone who doesn't even have the decency to consider MY feelings in this mess!"

"But I asked how you were, isn't that a start?"

"That doesn't help anything! You know full well how awful this whole month has been for me and you have the nerve to ask about how it's been?!"

"What did you want me to do, hug you the second Rhoam left?" He asked, rolling his eyes.

"That would've been better than asking about it." He walked over with his arms open and you pushed him away. "It's too late now!"

"Well what do you want me to do?" He asked as you stormed away from him.

"Leave! That's what I want you to do!" You looked away from the door, and then you heard it open, and it was a few seconds before it closed. Then you felt a hand on your chin, directing you to face the person.

"Come on, princess." Nolan whispered, taking your hand in his free one. "You can't stay mad at me forever."

"I can actually." You looked away, but he made you look back. "The only people I physically cannot stay mad at forever would be Amirah, Revali, Urbosa and Zelda. There's no Nolan in that list, is there?"

"You know you love me, _____."

"No, I love Revali. I want to be with him. I'm only here right now because Rhoam's making me."

"That bird is just a phase. You'll realize the moment you say 'I do' how much you really love me." He leaned in to kiss you, and you went with your first instinct and slapped him. Not too hard, but enough to get your point across.

"I'm going to my room. Don't follow me." You stormed out, and he sighed and went off to find Rhoam.

Once you got to your room, you went straight to your desk and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen, and you started writing.

Dear Revali,

How's the blizzard season over there? Has it died down enough for me to visit? I really really really need to see you, I miss you so much. I hope you're faring well, and I also wish you luck on your training for the competition this month. I love you :)

- Sincerely, _____
