Hakuba's POV

30 Minutes ago, Ekoda High

I went to my school then I saw Aoko was there alone but Kuroba isn't here with her then I have to ask her about his whereabouts

"Hey Aoko-san, Where's Kuroba-kun? Wasn't he supposed to go with you today?" I asked her

"Well you see.. This morning, I received a call from Kaito saying that he's not coming to our school due to his own circumstances that He had something to take care with Kaito's mother's friend" She explained about Kaito's reasonable absence giving me a bad feeling about him

If I recalled correctly, I chased Kid at around 10pm yesterday then I remembered seeing Kid flew around Beika when I was going home

But It's decided that I have to check out on him right now and I had a very bad feeling about Kuroba thinking he was killed by bad people or kidnapped by someone or something else

"Hakuba-kun!" Aoko called me but I kept thinking about Kuroba-kun while ignoring her

"Hakuba-kun!!" It was Aoko who interrupted my thoughts

"Oh! Sorry, I guess I was spaced out recently 😅😅" I said while scratching my hair

"Oh okay! We have to go back our classroom" Aoko replied as she looked to see her phone through clock time

I planned to make up a fake excuse to Aoko in order to skip class in Ekoda High then I faked to check my phone to make Aoko pay attention to me while frowning myself

"Hey Aoko, Can you inform Sensei for me? I will be absent today because It's very urgent that someone from Police HQ need me to solve the case" I told her while holding my phone to show Aoko

"Jeez... Fine then I'll make sure to tell Sensei about you then Go ahead!" Aoko sighed heavily while believing my fake excuse

"Thanks! I have to go now.." I left Aoko to head over Kuroba's house

My escape plan was a successful to fool Aoko to believe my excuse then I called Baaya to come urgently

Later, Baaya took me in to head over Kuroba's residence then I yelled Kuroba's name no matter how many times but It won't respond my answer then I remembered there's another man who was with Kuroba working in Blue Parrot

I asked Baaya to go Blue Parrot as soon as We arrived there then I was about to enter Blue Parrot but I suddenly heard an old man who talked over phone with someone then I was surprised to hear that voice belonged to Kuroba who said over the phone with an old man

I decided not to interrupt him and waited for him to finish his call

After few minutes later, He ended his call then he was about to go back to work but I was the one who knocked the door to show up in front of him

"Oh! Hakuba-san, If you're looking for Young Master but he's not here" An old man said while faking smile

"Oh my.. Will you cut to the chase? I guess that you're been helping Kuroba aka Kid during heist" I simply revealed to him giving him a surprised eyes
