{YOUR POV}

I opened my eyes as the sound of the box beginning to rise echoed through the walls. I cough out the small amount of water that had entered my throat, turning onto my side as the box begins to speed up.

'This really brought back some memories.' I thought to myself as the red lights began to flash.

I turned to look up at where the second Glade would be, where Sonya would hopefully be. My eyes darted down to my hand that still held the note that Thomas gave me. I could barely see the words, so I put the note in my pocket to look at later. I sigh to myself as the buzzing sound of the box arriving is heard growing closer. I closed my eyes as the box got closer to the closed opening, the animals screeching in the cages.

When the box came to a halt, I hissed in pain as my head smacked back against the ground.

"Shuck that hurt." I hissed, sitting up and rubbing the back of my head.

The doors open above me, blinding me by the sudden light. Raising my other hand to provide my eyes dome shade, I look up from the box.

"Hey there Newbie, welcome to the Field." Someone said as they dropped down into the box.

I blink my eyes, trying to focus them on the new person. I nearly collapsed from relief as I see the familiar girl I had been looking for.

"Good to see you too Sonya, I think we'll need to do some catching up." I smile at the girl, watching her as her eyes widen in shock.

She glanced up at the other ones, obviously looking at whoever was in charge of the 'Field'.

[NEWT POV]

"Emmy, do you want to help me cook today? I'm going to be making your favorite!" Fry exclaimed as we walked out of the homestead, her hand holding onto mine tightly.

I look down at her as she shakes her head almost immediately before I spare a glance at Fry. He frowned and sighed, worried about her before nodding his head. "Alright, but if you change your mind, you know where I'll be."

I watch as he turns around and walks back into the kitchen, I sigh softly and look back down at the girl. Her head was down, eyes trained to the ground. I crouch down in front of her, using my other hand to tilt her head up so she was looking at me.

"Hey, I think it's about time we talked. Can we do that?" I ask her gently.

She stares at me for a moment before nodding her head once.

Sighing softly I set down on the ground, pulling her down in front of me. She sat down, staring up at me with her brown eyes. Looking at her for a moment, I brought her into my arms. She was startled before she slowly hugged me back.

" I know it's hard Emmy, and I'm not telling you to force yourself, but we all miss her. I miss her so much, but she would want us to be happy. Even if it takes time, we will eventually be happy. But, everyone in the Glade is worried about you Emmy. And we just want to make sure that you are alright. But if your not, we're here for you. I'm here for you."

She was silent like she had been for the last few days. But she responded with a gentle nod against my shoulder. I closed my eyes, hugging her tightly before letting her go.

"So, are you wanting to help me with work or do you want to get more flowers?" I asked her as I slowly stood up.

She paused for a moment frowning slightly before raising two fingers.

"Flowers?"

She nods her head, and I smile. "Flowers it is. Be careful of the Beatle blades, alright!"

She nods her head before walking off in the direction of where the flowers were. I watched her walk off before sighing and turning back towards the Gardens.

|THIRD POV|

"Quiet!" Harriet shouted as the Fielders, who almost immediately went quiet right after.

"Now, let's hear what the Newbie has to say before we make any decisions, alright!" She said before turning to YN.

YN sighed standing up in the place that was shockingly similar to Glade. She looked at all the Fielders, the Female versions of the Gladers. Each one staring at her confused, scared, in wonder, and one in a heavy glare.

"I can understand the need to be cautious around me, but I can assure you I'm just like you. Only slightly different." YN began, looking at each of them.

"I'll start off simple then. My name is YN, and I have been in another maze, similar to this." The entire room practically gasped, before YN continued on.

"I remember my time before I had been sent up to that maze, I remember a few of you, however, I mostly stayed over with the boys. In the Glade, the maze where I had been sent, I had managed to find the door to leave. Sadly a shucking Griever got to me before I could go back to the Glade. Sonya, your brother, Newt, he's safe." She said, looking over at the blond girl.

"I have a brother?" Sonya whispered.

YN smiled, nodding. "Yeah, and a niece. My daughter, Emilia or Emmy, she's with him." YN's face fell slightly before she looked back at the fielders.

"This entire thing, it's a test for us. WICKED, the creators, they sent us here. They caused us to be here. But I know how to get out, so let me be a runner. Let me be a runner and we can escape." YN stated, looking back over to Harriet.

"Great she said her peace, now it's my turn." A girl said while standing up.

"Mary-"

"No Harriet, she said what she wanted to," Mary said, looking over at Harriet. "I don't trust this Stick, let's just get this straight. She just showed up in the box with her memories intact, claiming that there's another Field, filled with boys. Claiming that Sonya has a brother-"

"Mary shut the fuck up and sit your ass down." YN rolled her eyes, walking towards the center of the room.

"I said it before, the Griever gave me my memories back, and WICKED has the cure for the sting. That stuff that came up in the box, the ones labeled WCKD. Yeah, that's the serum. I even have the sting mark if you want that as proof too." YN said turning to Harriet, ignoring a raging Mary.

Harriet looked at her, before nodding her head. "Alright, show us the mark."

YN shrugged, rolling her shirt up just above her stomach. The scar still fresh, and the veins still showing but fading slowly. The room again gasped in shock, they had all seen the sting before, and that was the same as the others.

"Alright, I believe you. But you're not going to be a runner just yet. You need to tell us the whole story. Then I'll decide on whether or not you'll be made a runner."

YN sighed and nodded. "You better sit down, 'cause it's a rather long story."
