Chapter 27 {day 2}

~third person POV~
Wednesday morning

"Here, wear this" Iwaizumi said handing [y/n] a pair of shorts and shirt.

"Hajime these are your clothes" she scrunched up her face.

"You wear them all the time, so here put them on" he said pushing her into the bathroom.

She came back out dressed in Iwaizumi clothes that fit baggy on her.

"Perfect" he smiled.

"What's your deal?" She asked.

"You look beautiful with your hair down" he commented.

"Really you think so?" She blushed brushing her fingers through her hair.

He walked over to her and took the hair tie off her wrist.

"So let's put it in a ponytail" he said grabbing her hair trying to put in a ponytail.

"There" he said.

[y/n] looked in the mirror and seen the messy bun Iwaizumi made.

"This isn't a ponytail" she frowned. "I thought you liked my hair down?"

She turned around only to be sprayed by a strong smelling mist.

She started coughing and waving her hands around.

"What the hell?" She coughed again.

"I think you smell like me now" he said spraying the same cologne on himself.

"What's the point, we're about to leave and your making me look like a hobo"

He walked over to his bag and pulled out one of his hoodies.

"Arms up" he commanded

She lifted up her arms and he slid the hoodie over her head.

"It's to hot for this; it's summer time"

"Damn you still look hot even as a tomboy" Iwaizumi mumbled.

"Hajime what is wrong with you?" She asked having enough of his crap.

"You are mine" he pouted.

"Wha- is this about that flirty boy on the VB team"

"No way" he said. "Come on Let's go" he said taking her hand.

The two made it downstairs to the lobby where the rest of the team waited.

"Why are you dressed like that?" oikawa asked.

"Ooo she must be having her lady days" Kindaichi said.

Everyone glared at him making him nervous.

"O-or not" he said.

"No im fine, it's just hajime here is being possessive" she said looking up at the exposed male.

"Is it because that setter kept flirting with her" matsukawa asked.

"That's a good idea iwa-Chan. We can't let anyone have her" oikawa said hugging his sister.

"Move shittykawa" Iwaizumi said pushing him off.

"Okay I'm her brother that's different" he said poking Iwaizumi's chest.

"I don't care" Iwaizumi said picking up [y/n] like a sleeping toddler.

She wrapped her legs around his waist and hugged his neck. She rested her chin on his shoulder and smiled.

"Bye guys" she waved to the team.

Iwaizumi carried her off to the bus to wait for everyone.

The first person to approach them was Atsumu.

Ugh he's just like that soma guy. [y/n] complained in her head.

"Good morning f/n-Chan" he greeted completely ignoring Iwaizumi who stood behind her.

"Morning" she faked a smile.

"You have a pretty smile. You look different today" he tilted his head.

"Okay?" She said.

"But it's fine you look good in anything" he looked her up and down.

It took everything Iwaizumi had to keep his cool because [y/n]made him promise that he wouldn't act up today.

Atsumu was taunting him on purpose just to get under his skin.

Coach called both teams to the court to begin.

During a quick break from practice Iwaizumi and oikawa went to the bathroom.

[y/n] was sitting on the bench scrolling around on her phone.

"So what's the deal with you and Iwaizumi Huh?" Atsumu asked.

[y/n] looked up at the male with a angry look on her face.

She hated it when people would ask that. She didn't even know what was the deal between her and Iwaizumi herself.

"We're just friends" she shrugged.

"Just friends? You two seem pretty close to be just friends"

"And?" She narrowed her eyes.

"Yesterday you told me you don't have a boyfriend"

"That is correct"

"So why can't you date me" he broke out into a whiny voice.

She laughed at the boy. "Because I just met you yesterday and I don't even like you"

"Well that's mean" he pouted. "Well then who do you like?" He asked.

"Hajime of course" she smiled.

"Then why aren't y'all dating? You two already act like a couple"

"We never talked about it, we just... I don't know, but it doesn't bother me." She shrugged. "Why am I even talking about this with you? Shoo shoo go away" she said pushing the boy away.

Just as he moped away Iwaizumi walked back in. He immediately became angry when he seen Atsumu leave from [y/n].

"What did he want?" Iwaizumi asked sitting next to her.

"He tried asking me out again and then he asked why aren't we dating if we're so close"

Okay now I can't stop thinking about it. Why aren't we dating? She thought.
