Lexus

I had just finished getting dressed when I heard the doorbell .

I went downstairs and looked through the peephole , opening the door .

"Hey Za--"

"I gotta use the bathroom." He said coming in , running upstairs.

"Don't fuck up my shit nigga!" I yelled furrowing my eyebrows.

"Whatevaa!" He shouted back as I sat on the couch .

I had my bag on the couch already so I just started tapping my stomach a bit .

"Time to check on you." I said.

I felt moving but it was light . It was still a weird feeling .

"Your daddy's stupid." I said.

"Stop that." I looked up to Zane coming back down .

He walked over to me , pulling me up to my feet .

"Uh..do we find out the gender today?"

"I don't think you can at 3 months."

"Oh." He said .

"You ready?" He added.

"Yeah." I got my bag and walked out the door .

"You wanna drive separate or--"

"Why? Might as well let me drive." He said .

"I mean..." I hesitated. "Yeah I guess." I said .

I went over to his passenger side as he opened the door .

He closed it as I was in and got in himself .

Once he buckled up , he sat there for a while .

"Listen lex..." He started, looking down before looking up at me. "I want this to be less awkward as possible ."

"I agree."

He nodded as he crunk up and pulled out .

"Lexus." The doctor called as we was in the waiting room.

We really didn't talk . It was a little awkward but it's something we gotta do so we have to suck it up .

We both got up as we went to the back , following the doctor .

They gotta do that same shit every time , check weight and blood pressure .

"What was your weight a few days ago?" Zane asked , I stale faced him.

"You ever heard to not ask a girl her weight..."

"It's technically my baby's weight."

"I don't know, it's the same weight." I frowned .

"Come with me." The nurse said as we went to the back room.

We went in and sat down . I rocked my legs back and forth as Zane rubbed through his goatee.

"Zane what if something's wrong?" I asked low .

He looked at me.

"Don't entertain that thought."

"I mean so much had happen to people around me."
