38 NARRATIVE

CHAPTER 38

Vinnie and I have been
spending a lot more time
together recently. It's been
a month since we started
"dating". Not to be cheesy
but it's been some of my
best days in awhile.

I spent the night at his house
last night and now I'm just
chilling in his bed staring at
the ceiling. Vinnie still asleep
but it's like 7 am so, of
course.

I grab my phone and look
through my updates, pretty
much dry, nothing going on
on tiktokroom yet. Plus
everyone is asleep so I don't
have any slightly important
messages.

I sigh and try to fall back
asleep because I got nothing
better to do. Then I roll over,
opening my eyes for a
second and catch Vinnie
staring at me.

"Creep." I whisper jokingly as
we watch each other.

"Why were you pretending to
be asleep?" He questions like
it's some interesting thing.

"How else am I supposed to
fall back asleep? idiot." I
chuckle, rolling my eyes.

"Okay well what's the plan
for today? Should we chill
with the boys? We haven't
done that in awhile." He
suggests as he gets out of
bed like it's not 7 am.

"I have an idea, might be
cheesy but it might be fun.
We should make breakfast,
it's fun being messy and then
getting to enjoy the food we
just made." I recommend.

Vinnie makes a face like he
is thinking about it and kind
of agreeing to it. He then
nods, leading me out and
towards the kitchen.

We look around for all the
ingredients we need and
luckily enough he has
everything we need.

One person waking up and
looking at us curiously but
excited for an actual decent
breakfast.

"Come help us if you want
first dibs." I comment half
jokingly, sometimes you
gotta make the energy fun
around here yourself.

Jordan joins us in the kitchen
to help with the pancakes.
How cute a friend bonding
moment, not that we need it.

"I'm honestly surprised that
you guys randomly decided
to make everyone breakfast."
Jordan states, watching me
stir the pancake mix.

I haven't even had pancakes
in forever so I'm surprised
I'm doing it too.

"Well it was all Jesenia's
idea, I guess she was bored."
Vinnie says with a small
chuckle, finishing up the
bacon so it could go in the
oven.

"Thank you." People say as
they eat our breakfast and
socialize.

You ever just want to poison
the food?? Not I.

"This Nessa and Jaden shit
is kinda fucked up." Kio
states, trying to make the
conversation interesting and
less boring.
