6 NARRATIVE

CHAPTER 6

Amber forcing me
to go to the "boys"
party or whatever.
I like parties but I
usually get drunk
or high as hell.

And I'm just
ignoring the fact
Vinnie is here.

Since all of us are
probably going to
get drunk, Amber
drove us. Because
she's spending the
night.

"You can stay over
too if you want."
Amber states.

"Yeah I'm not
sleeping in the
same house as
Vinnie." I joke
as we get out of
her car half a
block away from
the party.

Walking into the
party it isn't as
overwhelming as a
high school party,
but it is mainly
influencers and
stuff.

I go a grab a drink
and start feeling
the vibe as I get
more comfortable
with my
surroundings.

"Hey." Someone
says from behind
me or besides me.

"Oh heyy Kio." I
chuckle as I sip
from my almost
empty cup.

"Where did
your friends go?
I feel like it's
less fun partying
alone." Kio asks.

"I don't know but
it's cool, I'll find
them later." I
shrug as we
head to get refills.

Vinnie is in the
kitchen area as
well but I really
don't care and
carry on with my
thoughts.

"Well if you need
anything come
find me." Kio
replies before
disappearing.

"That's like your
third drink." Vinnie
states as he
stands next to the
drinks.

"Okay and? It's
literally only my
second." I roll my
eyes as I refill
my cup.

"You're still bitchy
when you're
drunk." Vinnie
states with an
annoyed chuckle
before walking
away.

I go back and
look for Amber
or Emilio. While
looking I spot
someone who
looks exactly like
my brother who
disappeared 2
years ago.

I shake it off and
continue to look
around. It's like
they're hiding
from me.

"You good? You've
gone in a circle like
4 times." Jordan
chuckles walking
up to me.

"My friends
disappeared and
now I want to tell
them something."
I answer with a
shrug.

"I have zero clue
but maybe just
enjoy yourself
instead of looking
for them. You'll
find them when
you find them."
Jordan says in
reply.

Probably on
my 5th drink I'm
sweaty as hell but
I'm having the
time of my life.

"J-jus shut up and
kiss me." I slur as
this random
stranger pins me
on the wall.

He kisses me but
it was sloppy and
kind of gross and
that's coming from
a girl who isn't in
her right mind.

I escape his grip
and stumble away
to do other things.

I still haven't really
seen A or E like
are they fucking or
some?

I go to get another
drink but I know I
shouldn't but yolo.

"That's enough
drinks for you
tonight." Someone
says stopping me.

"Are you the drinks
fucking bodyguard
or some shit?
You've been here
like every time I've
gotten a drink." I
yell.

"I'm sorry I like
being in a less
crowded area
that's not locked
up alone in my
room." He rolls
his eyes.

"Suck my dick."
