AvNeil - A Special Bond of Destiny

Chapter - 16

Vidyut came back early-almost an hour past noon in order to surprise Juhi. As soon as he entered, he engulfed Juhi in a tight back-hug saying "Darling I'm home!". "Wow Vidyut. What a pleasant surprise! You are back quite early today" beamed Juhi. Breaking the hug, he held her chin and said, "Yes darling. I had promised you a shopping trip. And I think this is the perfect time for it. I got off work early to surprise you." "It is indeed a huge surprise and the best one. Ok let me get ready" chirped Juhi excitedly. Avni who was at home, overheard the conversation between the couple. "Neil isn't at home and it seems like Juhi and Vidyut are also going to head out soon. This is the perfect time for me to sneak in their house and research a bit to find any clues about Juhi's family" thought Avni to herself giving a sly smile. She geared herself up to enter the house once the couple would leave.

Meanwhile, Neil had gone to pick up the party invites that he had ordered. He scanned through the invites and was highly satisfied as they looked exactly similar to the one that he had seen in Vidyut's secretary's cabin. He paid the full amount, picked up the invites and headed towards home. On the other hand, Avni waited with a baited breath until the couple left. The minute she saw the car buzz away, she sneaked into their house. Neil who headed home ten minutes later, saw that the projector was on and he could see Avni in the couple's bedroom. In a hurry, she had forgotten to switch off the projector and Neil caught her live on the screen. She was busy ransacking through the various cupboards and drawers in the couple's living room and then headed towards their bedroom. Neil grew highly suspicious of her behavior. What was she up to? What exactly was she looking for? He decided to catch her red-handed and confront her. He turned off the projector, locked the house and sneaked into Vidyut's house. Avni was busy rummaging through every possible document in the cupboard to get some hint. As Neil was getting into their house, he observed Vidyut's car approaching the complex. Almost immediately he knew the couple was back and would enter the house anytime. He had to find Avni and get out of there as soon as possible. Panic-stricken Neil ran into the couple's bedroom. He held her hand tightly, closed all the drawers that were open including the cupboard. By that time, he heard the door click open. The couple were already in the house. He closed the door of the guest room through which he had entered. He knew it was too late for them to escape from the window as they had to screw it back in position. He pulled her under the huge king bed of the couple. He pushed her in and then positioned himself above her, placing his hand over her mouth. Avni was taken aback by the sudden turn of events. She didn't even realize that it was Neil who had dragged her until she heard him whisper softly in her ears, "Do not move an inch. We are almost on the verge of getting caught-all thanks to you. Nothing short of a miracle can save us now!". Her eyes widened in horror when she heard the laughing voices of Vidyut and Juhi. Neil had saved her from getting caught, just in the nick of time. They entered the bedroom and fell on the bed. "Juhi you are such a tantrum queen. You could have purchased the dress elsewhere" said Vidyut. "No ways Vidyut. That dress store is the best in Mumbai and I want my dress from there only. You know they have the best collection of dresses. Too bad the store was shut today. Anyways we can go there tomorrow. We still have time for the party" retorted Juhi. "In a way it's good. At-least now I get to spend some quality time with you" said Vidyut engulfing her in a hug and the couple drifted off to their passionate world.

Neil who had been supporting himself on his arms so long, was beginning to lose his strength. He tried his best to keep himself up, but he was unable to. 'When are they going to leave?' he cursed to himself mentally. His arms finally gave in to the pain and he shifted his entire body weight on hers, his hands encircling the sides of her waist, while his face rested on her left shoulder. She closed her eyes as soon as she felt his breath on her neck. He could feel all her curves pressed onto him, and he wasn't sure if he would be able to control himself from doing anything stupid. To make things worse, the couple above them were busy indulged in a passionate encounter. Avni's hands encircled Neil's broad shoulders. As the couple above continued to make out, Avni felt uneasy with the compromising position that she was in with Neil on top of her. A lot of thoughts drifted across her mind and suddenly in the next instant she started letting out hiccups in regular intervals. Neil's eyes horrified on hearing her hiccups. He immediately raised himself above her, and cupped her mouth with his hand. "Stop those hiccups of yours. do you want us to get skinned alive Avni?" whispered Neil in her ears. "What can I do? How can I stop my hiccups? Hickkk...It's a natural phenomenon Neil. I can't control it from Hickkk..Hickkk..happening Neil" she whispered back into his ears. As he heard her stifled hiccups below his hands, "Well darling, your timing seriously rocks" he whispered softly in an irritated tone. He needed to do something to stop them. It wasn't like the couple above would hear them-they were lost in their own passionate world-but yet he had to make sure that they do not get caught. He bent towards her and locked her lips with his in a deep kiss. His sudden advance startled her. She tried to resist his advance, but her attempts went in vain as she gave in and slowly began responding to him. They savaged each other like this was the moment that they had been waiting for forever. He had started the kiss just in an attempt to get rid of her hiccups. The motive was long forgotten and they continued to kiss each other passionately. His fingers clasped in between hers and he lay her hands on either side of her head, as he continued to kiss her intensely. They continued to ravish each other till they finally ran out of breath. They ended up breathing heavily and he lowered his head and placed it in the crook of her neck. His soft breath on her neck squirmed her insides, and her grip on his intertwined fingers tightened. Overtaken by the passion, he continued to shower tiny kisses at every inch of her neck. Her body continued to squirm against his as he continued his sweet torture on her. He slowly let go of her hands and instantly she hugged him tight pulling him closer to her. They totally forgot about the couple above them as they indulged in their own world of pleasure. As he continued to pleasure every bit of her soft skin, she hugged him tight and involuntarily her legs locked with his, while one hand ruffled his hair passionately. They finally whispered each other's names softly. "Neil" she gasped unable to take his sweet tortures, and instantly he whispered huskily "Avni". It was each other's voices that broke their trance. Almost immediately he rolled off her and rested beside her. For the first time they had acknowledged each other's presence and hadn't ended up taking random names. They both realized that they had absolutely no control when it came to their proximity. They couldn't trust their bodies in each other's vicinity. However, they couldn't deny the fact that they had a strong connection, but neither were they ready to admit it. After his breathing had returned to normal, Neil whispered "We need to sneak out of here Avni. I can see that the door is slightly open. However, Juhi and Vidyut are busy and they won't even notice." "Hmmm" whispered Avni. "You need to be extremely careful and as quiet as possible to not make any additional noise. We shall slowly roll ourselves towards the door. Once we reach the door, we shall crawl out of the room. Got it?" he questioned her. "Ok sounds good to me" she whispered back softly. It was a risk that they both were taking by making this move, but they had no other choice at that moment and hence decided to go ahead with it. He rolled out slowly, followed by her. Once, they both reached the door which was only a few feet away from their earlier position, they crawled out and reached the other guest room. Neil carefully opened the guest door ensuring no noise was made, helped Avni jump down and then sealed the window back in its original position. He held her hand and hurried away to their house. They caught their breath back only once they were in the house.

"Pheww that was a narrow escape!" Neil said heaving a sigh of relief as he shut the door close. "Yes, it was. If it weren't for you, we would have been busted today. Thanks Neil" said Avni and started to walk away slowly. Almost instantaneously she felt her hand being stopped and turned to see Neil gripping her by the wrist. "Not so fast. What the hell were you doing there Avni?" questioned Neil, almost trying to calm down his fury. "Nothing that concerns you Neil" replied Avni wriggling her wrist trying to get out of his hold. His hold tightened on listening to her audacious reply. He pulled her vigorously and not anticipating it, she ended up closer to him-dangerously close. Her hands held onto his shoulders for support. His other hand snaked around her waist holding her tightly, letting her absolutely no room to escape. She could see the rage in his eyes-he most definitely looked like a volcano that was about to erupt at any time. "Do you realize that we could have got caught today? And all our weeks of hard work would have just gone down the drain" he yelled holding her jaw tightly with his other hand. Her eyes continued to look at his and small tears brimmed up. She wasn't sure if it was because he was hurting her physically or was it because of the pain stemming from the fact that he was more worried about their mission than her. Her hands slipped down his shoulders gradually and she held onto his shirt buttons. Tears just rolled down her eyes as she lowered her head unable to face him. His face changed from fury to worry and concern on seeing her tears. He let go of her face, but his other hand refused to let go of her waist. He lifted up her chin with his finger to forcefully make her meet his eyes, but she still looked down. "Look Avni. I didn't mean to intimidate you. We are friends. We have been staying together for so long and we know each other quite well. We have a common mission in hand. What's bothering you? Tell me. Maybe there's some way I can help you out" he said sympathetically. She raised her head to meet his eyes, while he gently wiped the tears off her face with his fingers. "Tell me Avni" he pleaded almost, his tone being as gentle as possible. "You are doing everything that's possible from your end to separate them, but I have absolutely no success from my end. So, I just thought that if I could go and search around, I'll get what I'm looking for" she said her voice still shaky. "Find what?" asked Neil politely, his hand slowly and involuntarily stroked her head gently. "I want to know everything about Juhi - her family and most importantly where she stays." said Avni her voice sounding firmer now. His face now bore a confounded look and he asked "Why do you want to know anything about Juhi?". "Because that's my only move against her. If I find her parents and somehow convince them to come here and make her meet them, it will kill Vidyut and he will leave her" she retorted back. He could sense the discomfort and pain in her voice-So that's what was bothering her. Lots of questions and thoughts flooded his mind - He wanted to help her but he couldn't decide exactly how. He let go of her and walked away from there. Her eyes glistened with tears as she saw him walk away.
