Meanwhile in Mumbai...

The sun's rays peered through the translucent curtains and fell upon the couple who were now lying peacefully in each other's arms. The previous day had been exhausting for Juhi and Vidyut. Running away from home was not an easy decision, but they had no other way to get out of the situation they had landed themselves in. The chirping birds awakened Juhi from her slumber. As she woke up and saw the love of her life lying beside her, a warm smile spread across her face. She got up and was contemplating about heading towards the bathroom, while she felt a tug at her wrist. Vidyut pulled her slightly and the next minute she was in his arms. "Let go of me Vidyut. I have a lot of things to take care of. Don't you forget that we just moved and there is a lot of work pending" she said sighing. "That can wait my darling. Also taking care of your hubby should also be of your utmost priority right now" he said winking at her pulling her closer to him, while she blushed profusely, hitting gently on his chest.

On the other hand, at Prakash's house, Neil was packing up hence leaving his room in a mess. He had made up his mind to go to Mumbai in search of Juhi. His best friend DD stayed there and had moved there on his job. Distance makes the heart fonder they say. Similarly, Neil and DD made it a point to be in constant touch with each other. On the night of his wedding, a distraught Neil had vigorously searched Juhi's room in hope of finding any clue as to where she had fled to. To his luck, he had found a xerox copy of a ticket indicating a journey from Delhi to Mumbai. Ever since he had found that, he had sought the help of DD to trace her location. DD after managing to finally track the couple with a lot of effort, had been filling Neil on Juhi's whereabouts.

After finally checking on everything that he needed, he headed out of his room to the hall where Mr and Mrs. Khanna were seated. The disappointment was very evident on their faces. The guilt also eating them as they had promised Neil a happy life with Juhi. He saw their dejected faces, walked up towards them and bent down on his knee, holding Prakash's hands. "I can never thank you enough for always having treated me as your own son and taking care of me with so much love and compassion. I am indeed very lucky. You held my hand when I had no one of my own. It is only under your guidance, that I have been able to grow up into the responsible, independent man that I am today. I know this is indeed a tough time and situation for us to deal with right now. I am equally shocked by how everything has turned out and the predicament that we are facing now. I do not know what went wrong. I have a lot of questions for Juhi. I need to know why she did this to me. I just hope I can find her at the earliest and get the answers I desire. I kindly request you to shower your earnest blessings on me so that I be successful in my endeavors.", he said forcing a smile on his face trying desperately to hold back the tears that was threatening to fall any moment. This family meant a lot to him and it did break him seeing them like that. "I know this would be hard for you, but if possible, can you please forgive us for the ordeal we had to put you through?" said Prakash holding his hands. "Prakash is right. Please forgive us for having invoked false dreams in your heart about having a blissful wedded life with Juhi. We are indeed very sorry.", added Shweta crying. "Aunty, Uncle please would you stop? You are embarrassing me by apologizing profusely. None of us had any idea this would be happening. Please stop blaming yourselves for all that has chanced. You have done so much for me. I am ever indebted to you. I need to get my answers and I shall be back within no time.", he said bending to seek their blessings. He then headed to the airport. Once he was seated, and as the plane took off, he mused deeply at the clouds in the blue sky. He had absolutely no idea how this journey was going to change his life forever!

Meanwhile in another part of Delhi, Avni was rummaging through her closet and dumping all her clothes into her luggage. She had no time to waste – it was late already. She had to find Vidyut. She received a call from Sunehri. On seeing her name on the screen, she immediately picked it up. "I have some great news for you Avni. I have managed to gather all the information surrounding Vidyut and Juhi. Its only a matter of time now until you arrive." she chirped. A wide grin spread across her face as she internally smirked saying, "You are the best Sunehri. I am extremely grateful to you for all that you have done for me. Juhi has nowhere to escape. It's about time she gets a taste of her own medicine." Sunehri and Avni were best friends from childhood - almost inseparable. Unfortunately, a few years ago, Sunehri had to shift to Mumbai as her father was being transferred on his job. Their friendship however was so deep-rooted that even distance could not separate them. They were constantly in contact with each other – soul sisters, as one may call them. Avni could not come to terms with the fact that Vidyut had left her. She read the letter he had left umpteen number of times. He had accidentally mentioned about his location, but she interpreted it as an indirect sign for her. She felt that there is some conspiracy involved, with him vanishing suddenly with Juhi and leaving her all alone – a fantasy created by her own mind as it could not accept the truth that Vidyut was in love with another woman. She dragged her luggage behind her and walked into the hall where her mother stood. She hugged her from behind and asked, "Maa, are you upset with me?". "Of-course I am, but will that stop you from leaving?" said Neela sarcastically. Avni released her from the hug, came forward, turned to hold her mother's hands and said, "I am really sorry Maa. But you really need to understand my situation. I have to go. I need to understand why everything changed. I need answers from Vidyut as to why he suddenly had to change his mind and go back on the promise he had made to me a few days back. I have a lot of questions and I have no answers. I am going on my quest to seek them. I cannot live like this. I promise you, I will be back as soon as I get all my answers. Please give me your blessings Maa so that I am successful in my endeavors." Neela held her face in her hands. "You are my only daughter and my most prized possession. Please take extra care of yourself. My best wishes and blessings are always with you Avni. You have to stay in touch with me on a regular basis. I hope this new journey makes you happy and grants you all that you desire.", she said, and planted a gentle kiss on Avni's forehead. After giving her mother a final tight hug, Avni stepped into the cab that was waiting outside for her. On reaching the station, she walked into the Delhi-Mumbai express train. She placed her luggage beneath her seat and sat down. As the train chugged away from the station, Avni looked out into the green fields that passed by. A slight smile adorned her face. She had a feeling positive about this journey, of finally being one step closer to being reunited with her love – but little did she know that God had other plans and that this little venture of hers was going to drastically change her life!
