Oliver and I sit in his dormitory for a little while, keeping up a friendly (and sometimes flirty) banter.

"Merlin; Percy's staying out really late," Oliver comments.

"Or we just came in really early," I laugh.

"Well, when you say it like that, we sound very uncool."

"I can't believe us- the two best quidditch captains at Hogwarts, not even staying at a party until ten."

"You think I'm the best quidditch captain at Hogwarts?" he grins.

"No- you're after me, obviously."

"Oh, please," he rolls his eyes.

"Well, lets think- who won the quidditch cup last year?" I ask, stroking my chin mockingly.

He throws his pillow at me, quite hard.

"Wow- sure you shouldn't be a chaser?" I ask, after I finish laughing.

"What?"

"That was a solid throw-"

"Hurt that much, did it?" he grins.

"Nobody hurts me!" I say.

Oliver rolls his eyes. It's quiet for a moment. "Want to do something rebellious?"

"Oh, Oliver Wood, I'm intrigued," I grin, sitting up straighter, ready to listen.

"Alright, Parker- I'm thinking we get our brooms and go for a turn about the quidditch pitch, maybe even explore the highlands a bit."

"In the middle of the night?!"

"I thought you liked rebellious!"

"That's bound to get us expelled," I shake my head, laughing.

"Oh, please, you really are a Ravenclaw," he tuts.

"What's that supposed to mean!?"

"Nothing! Just saying you should live a little," he shrugged. "Don't you like bad boys?" he smiles cheesily.

I roll my eyes. "Oh my God, you're insufferable."

"Is that a yes?"

"Let's do it," I grin.

He gets up and pulls his broom out from under his bed.

"How am I supposed to get my broom?" I ask.

"Let's fly up to your dormitory window and you can climb in-"

"That won't work-"

"Why not?"

"Nobody's gonna be there to let us in!" I grin. "Plus, you can't have two people on a broom; we'd be too heavy."

"You're light enough-"

"I'm very muscular!"

"Oh, and where are you storing all this muscle?" he rolls his eyes.

"Want to find out?" I ask. Oliver raises his eyebrows. "Wait- no- that came out the wrong way-"

"I'm sure you're very strong, Laurie," he nods, grinning.

"You're such an arse!" I shake my head, trying to hide my blush.

"You're so cute when you get flustered," he laughs.

"Oh my God, shut up!" I say, blushing harder.
