If everyone feels that they're alienated,
Then does that mean everyone is living a lie?
The popular kids are hiding behind that glmaour, the nerds are hiding behind books, the athletes are hiding behind their sports teams, the mean girls hiding behind bold lipped smiles,
Everyone is hiding.
If everyone is hiding, they've got the demons that are residing, in your head,
I have a question, who are you hiding from?
Your parents? Your teachers? Your friends? Your crushes mom?
Why are you hiding? Why am I hiding?
Why does it have to be a rollercoaster that we're riding?
Why does it have to be a journey or a destination? Why does life have to represented by so many different metaphors?
When at the end of this so called ride, we don't even know what awaits us?
