You played the right chords at the right time,
And you etched the words into my mind,
And I had pressed record and then you stopped,
And even when you left, they played on.
You said the right thing at the right time,
You brought out words I couldn’t find,
And I looked them up and wrote them down,
And you left, and they stayed both without a sound.
You came into the right life at the right time,
You turned back the clock and stopped the tide,
We watched the sunset and the sunrise,
And now I'm still here with you on my mind.
