Crying Skies, Rain And Discarded Memories

my demons look like me

I'm having dreams,

Where my parents were actually

Nice to each other.

And usually the backdrop is,

The world is ending,

Surrender.

I'm having nightmares,

Losing my cat,

Lost one already

He's not coming back,

Yet.

He hasn’t come back, yet.

It's awful,

I'm being honest,

It's scary,

Not being sarcastic,

The shit's been scared out of me,

I'm scared of reality, too.

I'm having dreams,

I'm failing grades,

And all my friends,

Aren’t mine that day,

And it sucks,

But that's okay.

I'm having nightmares,

Running down the stairs

Being chased my creatures,

That wear my face,

And the shit's been scared out of me,

But that's okay.

It's crazy,

I'm scared,

It's awful,

I want to disappear,

But I'm stuck to the spot,

And my demons, they come out.

And what's strange,

Is that they look like me,

Like me.
