The knight and princess had made their way back to the castle. Y/n was now alone with their thoughts, the very same thoughts that terrified them from time to time. It were as if a tornado was approaching so painfully slowly.
She liked someone... They didn't even dared to say the word love. Now that word felt like a faceless nightmare creeping into their head. Pouring more poison than they could possibly swallow.
They made their way to the training field determined to make the aching deception go away.
"Y/n, haven't seen you in a while" They looked up to meet with punz' eyes.
"Hm" They murmured not really wanting to start a conversation.
"You seem in a bad mood" He grinned while resting his elbow on the handle of the sword that fitted in the ground to support his weight.
"Do you want anything at all?" They kept a low tone while studying their own sword.
"Yes, I actually do" He chuckled as usual.
"And what might that be?" They finally looked at him.
"Zephyr's famous prince has come to visit by orders of his father, just wanted to tell you that" He responded.
"Techno...?"
Punz chuckled yet again at the sudden mood change of his friend.
"The one and only" They heard a monotone voice behind them. Their lips parted slightly in shock and their eyes widened.
They quickly turned around to meet with the tall man.
"Y/n, long time no see" He slightly smiled down at them.
Their once furrowed expression was fast to turn into a smile that matched the prince's.
With y/n's smile, punz was satisfied enough to leave the two to catch up.
"You seem like an easy target, need a duel to wake you up into your senses?" He smirked not wasting a second to challenge them.
"Thought you never ask" They sighed already walking to a further part that sat between trees.
"Oh- okay now then" He ran up to them until they were side by side.
