*5 minutes later*
Daichi: Noya! Are you ok? You're spacing out.
Nishinoya: Sorry. I'm fine!
Daichi: Ok, if you say so.
*Nishinoya looks like he's about to pass out and his breathing is fast and unsteady*
Asahi: That's it.
Sugawara: Asahi? What's going on?
Asahi: Noya, I know you don't want to, but you have to take it off.
Nishinoya: No! I'm fi-
*Nishinoya collapses onto the ground with a loud thud*
Tanaka: NOYA!
Asahi: This idiot.
*Everyone rushes to Nishinoya's side. As they're staring in shock, Asahi slowly walks over to the team and moves them aside*
Kageyama: How is Asahi so calm? I thought that he would be the one panicking the most if someone collapsed in the middle of the practice.
*Asahi pulls Nishinoya on his lap to lie on his stomach and slides his shirt up a few centimeters*
Daichi: Asahi! What are you doing?
Tsukishima: He knows what he's doing, let him be.
Daichi: But-
Yamaguchi: Trust us, Daichi.
Kiyoko: Everyone, continue practicing, leave them alone. It'll be fine.
*As everyone continues to practice while glancing at Nishinoya and Asahi once in a while, Asahi slides Nishinoya's binder off. He then covers Nishinoya with his jacket since he doesn't want him to be uncomfortable. Soon he wakes up*
Nishinoya: 'Sahi?
*Nishinoya notices that he doesn't have his binder on*
Nishinoya: Asahi, why did you take it off? I was fine!
Asahi: NO. You were not fine. You collapsed, for fucks sake.
*Everyone looks at Asahi with shock because he isn't the type to swear* (by this I don't mean that he is Asajesus, he's a high schooler of course he's not holy, he just isn't a fan of swearing)
Asahi: I was worried, Yuu.
Tanaka: Noya! Are you ok?
Nishinoya: Ye-yeah.
Sugawara: What happened back there?
Nishinoya: My binder was too tight.
*Tsukishima, in a genuine voice*: Were you feeling dysphoric?
*Everyone is shocked when they see Tsukishima genuinely caring for a person other than Yamaguchi*
*Nishinoya, with his voice quivering*: Yeah. I just felt like I'd never be man enough when I woke up this morning. I- I didn't want to wear my clothes because I had to look at my body to do so. Seeing my reflection in the mirror reminded me of how I'm not enough. I- I tell myself that it'll get better but it never does.
Yamaguchi: Trust me, Noya, it will.
Nishinoya: How- how can you be so sure?
*Yamaguchi, smiling*: Personal experience.
Nishinoya: Are you-
Yamaguchi: I'm non-binary. And let me tell you this, sure, not being cisgender can be pretty hard, but if you have that one person that can make you forget about all your worries and love you no matter what, it'll be fine.
Tsukishima: Aww~ so cheesy~
Yamaguchi: Oh, shut up. I wasn't talking about you.
Tsukishima: Sure you weren't~
Ennoshita: Noya, why didn't you tell us that you were trans?
Nishinoya: I didn't want you to shun or mock me.
Tanaka: What for? You are who you wanna be and nobody can say otherwise.
Nishinoya: Thank you, that means a lot...
Daichi: Same goes for you Yams.
Yamaguchi: Thanks.
Sugawara: So~ since when are you guys dating, hm?
Nishinoya: We got together after we won against Date Tech.
Tsukishima: Fuck.
Yamaguchi: I knew it.
*Tsukishima slips a $10 bill into Yamaguchi's hand*
Yamaguchi: Thank you, love.
